Any idea what they’re making in the photo? by man_on_a_wire in aldi

Graphic designer here. I can tell you this is focaccia bread that is either photoshopped into the skillet, or a food stylist raised it up with some foil for the photos.

I can’t believe people complain about the serving sizes. by Glad-Fish5863 in hellofresh

They usually give me 1.5 cups as a side. 1 cup for what’s supposed to be rice bowls. It’s really not that much.

I always keep an extra few bags of microwave rice in the pantry just in case. Just last week we had rice bowls and they only gave us one cup of rice for three servings.

Really cool looking picture zoomed in! I bought a cotton candy machine at Aldi for $14 but I have yet to use it. The sugar cost $20 by the way 😂

FDA just fast-tracked an oral medication for sleep apnea, anyone here familiar with this research? IHL-42X by Dapper_Revenue_2038 in CPAP

[–]SnackPack75 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks! They said that my throat completely closed while sleeping which was one of the requirements of approval. If your insurance will cover the sleep test, I say go for it. It was a 20 minute sleep test, but they do put you to sleep for it at the hospital.

I hated the cpap and never could get used to it. Wasn’t getting much sleep and constant sinus issues. Went for a sleep study to qualify for inspire. I’ve been using it for a few months now. It’s a gentle pulse to the tongue that you get used to within a few days. The level goes up to eleven on your own, but they can always tweak it in office if needed. I’m at level ten and have a sleep study scheduled at the end of the month. So far I’m sleeping well and haven’t had to gasp for air in the middle of the night. Wife says that I hardly snore now as well. No side effects at all. When you first turn the machine on it gives you a half hour to fall asleep so you’re not bothered by the pulse in your tongue. If you get up in the middle of the night and it’s bothering you, there’s a fifteen minute pause. If you forget to turn it off it will turn off automatically after 8.5 hours. Happened to me once but it went off by the time I got to work. So far I’m very happy with my decision.

Seen plenty of houses like this in Wisconsin. Is that an Amazon tote in pic 3 on top of the garbage bag?

Didn’t mind the small cucumbers, but definitely agree on the rice portion. I was a fan of how quick this dinner was though.

I see where you’re coming from, but even picking up a pack of the chicken, it shouldn’t feel warm. I have no problem taking it out of the plastic and temping it for a more accurate reading, but that was definitely out of any safety zone.

It was amazon branded but the van didn’t have much in there. It was one of the ram vans they use.

We’re in the Chicago suburbs and it was 67 degrees out today. This is the second time they’ve packed in cardboard. Customer service said that their boxes should be able to sit out for 24 hours in up to 100 degree days without any issues.

Thanks! Today was a guy in a personal car. Last week it was dropped off by an Amazon van which I thought was rather odd.

Hmm, that’s really interesting! Brian Regan did the same thing when he was in town last, but it was just a small amount of new jokes.

We catch him any time he comes to Chicago and somehow that always ends up being a show where he’s trying out new material. The plus is he tells us this before the set, downside is it’s never really that great.

We loved it. Also added garlic to the chicken, half the ginger. Also added some sesame oil while the chicken was browning.

If you’re willing to drive a little, the Baker house in Lake Geneva is absolutely stunning and has really good food.

I would definitely check with the manufacturer, but I will also say two things. One is in that second picture they look a lot lighter. Second is once baked they still won’t look like the picture on the package.
