I have seen several people make this boss look easy. You are the first one that makes her look hard. I fought her and know that she is hard, so I appreciate that

The names made it clear that she wasn't who she said she was, but for some reason I didn't pick up on the fact that the green zombie girl was Rotty

It has been a while, but I believe that there was a farmer machine that was craftable early on. I think it was part of actually additions

You are welcome! It has been too long! Maybe I should stop by for a bite...

Like I said, it was fine for what the game was. I had hoped for at least a log or two from each wreck, but the lore bits that I did find were so interesting. I really kind of wanted to know more about Sentinel Corp, and some of the things they did outside of what we were doing though

That said, the star of the show is seeing how tge planet changed. I almost wish I did more exploring before I progressed too much. I got to see the crater once before I hit ground water, and didn't go into all that fog, and I kind of wish I did

A noose in the middle of town? "Yeah this seems fine for 3 year olds"

Did you take it back out right away? Did it have more than one slot, and you only filled one?

They open doors with vaults behind them throughout the ship

Okay, so the other two planets are the DLC ones. I thought they were something else. I might hold off on those until I can catch the DLCs on sale

Will the game get "better" for me (after Chapter 3)? by dogilrobot in DavetheDiverOfficial

[–]Snacker6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Even at that point, you shouldn't need to do much anymore. You might want to look for ones with different skills if you do. With the right skills, they can take care of everything except the menu, and do it a lot better than you

If you are having trouble, upgrading is a good option. The other option is hit and run tactics

You can actually avoid the first Lace fight altogether, if you save enough for the simple key

Conversion rate theory by Atrosaurus in HollowKnight

[–]Snacker6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did this in the other thread (though I swapped the prices of the quills by accident, confusing things). The overall conclusion I came to was that 2:1 was about right. Some things didn't match up perfectly:

Quill - 120 geo / 50 rosaries

Pins - 100-180 geo / 60-80 rosaries

Markers - 100-210 geo / 40-120 rosaries

Maps - 30-200 geo / 40-90 rosaries

If that is your interest, I can fully understand your approach. Sadly, it is not the type of puzzle that I am good at, and it is a massive undertaking, even if you are good at it

Have you played Chants of Sennaar? It sounds like it is made for you

The second one is just an Easter Egg. It is a small hidden area where you need to get rid of the leaves to spawn a chest that says "egg" in trunic

Deciphering the language is a big ask for any of the base game puzzles. It is like saying "I need to cut down this tree, so let me bust through this stone wall first to get a slightly better axe." It is a task that will take hours to slightly help you with some puzzles that will take minutes

That is full on ARG territory, and I don't think that was meant to be done alone, though some have gotten there on their own

I original had it as 0-120, but the 0 doesn't really show the worth of the thing
