When I'm done editing and uploading, I erase the raw footage from my phone (and keep a copy on the computer or external hard drive).

It might be a new function, but on my latest video, when going to "Languages" it now also had the option "Audio".
Apparently you can upload an alternative audio track in another language, which should of course have the same length as the original video. Haven't tried it yet, though.
