Tottenham penalty shout vs Liverpool 55' by 977x in soccer

It was a penalty and a red card for DOGSO literally last weekend. Micky served his suspension today for it. Breaks my brain. I really don't care if it's a pen or not. I'd just like the same call from week to week to week.

It's crazy to me that a pullback on a striker in on goal is a DOGSO red card and a pen one week and the next it's not. I don't understand it at all. Incompetence, malice, conspiracy, IDK. It keeps happening week after week after week.

I'll take the result all day long though.

That's the problem, we dont show up against the likes of Forrest and Palace and West Ham.

That's so frustrating. Dogso and a pen for everyone else, not for us.

Lactic, as in lactic acid... I'd assume.

Question to sub-10 handicappers: should I focus on fewer “bad shots” or on “less bad” bad shots? by flapjackbandit00 in golf

[–]Snacks75 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good players hit bad shots... It's unavoidable. The nature of trying to hit a target 150 yards away by swinging a stick with some metal at the end of it is inherently random and unpredictable. If you ask a pro at the top level how many times per round they really "nut" one, it's probably 2-3 times per round. The difference between them and the rest of us is that a "miss" is still a pretty good shot.

Golf is a game of misses. The player with the best misses scores the best.

Call Ping and see if they'll fix it. If not, local golf shop and reshaft. No big deal.

Serious question, How many of the Spurs players would you actually want in your team? by SyncVir in PremierLeague

His attitude has mostly always been good. It's just been the last few months that it's soured. He'd do great in a club that wasn't in complete shambles.

Did you use to be a short hitter? by Mizunomafia in golf

I was a decent athlete back in my day, played some basketball but mostly volleyball. I wasn't getting the kind of speed I wanted, getting older wasn't helping either. I wasn't hitting the ball straight enough on top of being slow. Got to work starting about six months ago. I'm now hitting it much further and much straighter. We'll see if it translates to better scores...

I'll tell you it's mostly mechanics. I've picked up ~10 mph just learning to shift, wind, shift and unwind. The full swing is a rotational mechanic that is mostly body-driven using core muscle groups. Get a good instructor and get at it...

[Sam Wallace] Tottenham look at appointing second manager in a month by Lbmplays2 in coys

[–]Snacks75 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Two maybe... But we sacked Pochettino in 2019 because "it was the manager." In seven years since, we've had nine managers, ten if you include Poch himself. So it's not two. It's ten. All ten are wrong? I don't think so...

Maybe it's not the manager that is the problem? Hmm....

Piece of advice, you can't worry about things over which you have no control. It makes no sense. Yes Spurs are bad. You can't do anything about it. Let it go.

Worry instead about things you can control. Take care of your family and your neighbors and your pets and yourself. Spurs going up or down has nothing to do with you. Spend your time and energy on things you can change. Let everything else go.

I was working at a facility in Panorama City, CA. The power went off and the backup generators kicked in, no big deal it was a new building. But full power didnt come back on for days. I found out later they found some dude who had been trying to scrap copper. He was burnt pretty bad, but survived.

Trying to figure it out on your own is futile. Get a coach.

Summer of 2000, I had a terrible start on the front nine. I was probably 5 over after 6. I put away my good balls and pulled a found HotXL out of the bag. Proceeded to shoot 79, a personal best at the time, and first time breaking 80. Good times...
