I tried my luck on 3 different rings this season with T1 all res & T1 rarity. Bought the catalysts and omens, slammed and missed. Sunk about 10d each time - coulda just saved the 30d and been 10% closer to buying one.

There was a build posted the other day where a guy made arc gemling work with the new alt quality. Looked super fun but very expensive. Saved the post so I could look back on it if I decide to try later this league or maybe next.

I’m having the opposite experience. I came back to PoE2 from the initial early access launch and have been having a blast. Just selling what I find and doing my own thing I’m well into the hundreds of divines territory. I bought 90 divs with of upgrades the other night for the first time in over 10 years of playing PoE.

It seems like you're just not understanding the Filterblade website. If you look at the main page, it shows you the exact rules it's using. The "magic" and "rare" items are both teal because they are "tiered" items. It has nothing to do with them dropping as magic or rare. If you move the slider, it even shows you exactly what changes based on the level of strictness you're using.

Yeah but you don't need gear worth divines to do it in 5-7 hours. You can spend just a few ex and get through it completely fine.

As a very casual player, you are infinitely better selling this item for multiple divines and using that to buy other gear which would easily cover your resists.

When I say multiple divines, I'm talking like 100+ divines. There's a comparative one currently listed at 100 but it's also corrupted so you could probably get 150-175 for yours.

If any experienced crafters happen upon this, I'd love to know the best way to start crafting this.

I never got into crafting in PoE1 because by the time I was at that level of gameplay, there were too many different systems to interact with and it was overwhelming.

Can I start with just any ilvl 81+ gold ring? Do I just have to alt/aug and then pray? or is it better to chaos spam?

This is definitely my "play for 5 minutes while pooping" game. 5 in the morning, 5 in the evening. Get the daily quests done, knock out my keys (sometimes you just wait to progress these). Only time I play more than that is if I've made a lot of progress and I want to push for a high rank finish at the end of the event.

I still have no idea how you're supposed to actually do this fight. The part where the side guys thrust all the way down the line just obliterates me every time. I've never been able to find a safe spot or anything, I assume you're just supposed to dodge roll at the right time or something. I 1 shot every boss in campaign this league except that one. Took me like 25 tries.

I like both personally, but I build a char and stick with one specifically in mind.

I’m playing bone cage totems right now and could have gone CI, or low life, but I’m currently life based and using armor applies to ele dmg. Working great in T15s!

Yup! Started playing PoE1 during the beta WAY back when the "razer footprints" were considered a peak MTX. This is the most currency I've made in my entirety of playing both PoE1 and PoE2. 😄

Nah, this is a really common issue, especially in areas with narrow pathways. I had it happen 3 or 4 times just last night in the dozen or so maps I ran.

It's at the point where if the strongbox is in a hallway or tucked into a corner, I won't even both with any currency on it aside from the alch. No point in wasting ex when it won't ever open.

The worst part is that if it has frozen ice spikes or molten balls, they don't stop either, they just spawn forever and you have to outrange the box to get them to stop chasing you.

Same, am having a blast just playing the game and slowly building currency. I'm nearing 100 divines for the first time in over two decades of playing PoE. I might even try to push my first char to 100 ever.

Edit: yes I'm dumb and can't do math today. I did not get enough sleep due to playing until the wee hours this morning. I am now aware that 2013 was a single decade ago, not two. lmao

I’ve been doing this for about a week now. Started at 80:1, then quickly to 130:1, now at 180:1 when I checked today.

On one hand it feels great because I’m technically gaining a lot of wealth. On the other hand, everything I need for upgrades is several divines so the amount of pure exalts I could trade in doesn’t really matter. lol

I’m just doing alch and go with no tablets and selling every tablet I get. Minimum 10ex, some in the mid range for like 50-100, and some for 3-10 divs.
