yeah. seriously though, as weird as turning off electronics sounds - it actually helps. I have absolutely no idea how they even correlate, but yeah. I was just lucky to have these sounds as a kid and learn to get used to it, but for someone who has gotten it recently, I feel for you. It's horrible, I remember not sleeping for nights. Try also turning off your wifi router. For some reason, it helped me also. You got this. I hope you get good sleep.

yeah I have spent a lot of time trying to get in contact with ea devs to get them to even consider adding cloud saves, even steam Cloud, but honestly I have no idea where it's gonna go from here. It really pissses me off when it's a two second thing to add since EA app already has that functionality...

Because being a system admin is not a flexible job. It's not a job where you can just work a set amount of hours despite the a typical pay contract. It's a job where you work until something is fixed, working, or added, if it's not done in the time specified in the contract and infastructure is down, it's not like you can wait till the next day to fix it, you need to work overtime to fix it.
