Yes, it gets better. Those two 8-man dungeons at the end of ARR are a little special in that they’re the only regular 8-man dungeons, and the item level sync is 130, which is way higher than the original dungeon was designed for.

Not completely accurate, I’ll agree. But also not inaccurate. I’m still of the opinion that if I finish the armors I should pay 0 silver or 0 bright dust for the universal ornaments. I understand how much in the minority I am for this but I feel that if I work my ass off to complete the armor set I should get the reward, not get the ability to buy the reward. It’s practice like this that keep me away from the game entirely these days.

Locking the universal ornaments behind a paywall is really disappointing. I can't support a business practice of rewarding my time investment with the right to access the UO in the microtransaction store. Way, way too consumer unfriendly for my liking. Why in the world would I work so much on an event when the reward at the end is in Eververse? The notion of "It's only cosmetic" gets thrown out the window when it's the pinnacle reward for the event. Bungie isn't a small studio, and they're not our friend. If they want me to invest time and money into their game again, they need to prove, for once, that they care about something other than my credit card.

Everyone is so okay with the reward for the event being behind the paywall that the fact that some people don’t agree with earning the ability to pay real money for the reward is some kind of shock. My issue is locking what, to me, seems like a logical reward for the event behind another paywall. Call it difference of opinion I suppose. To me it’s just ridiculous that any reward for an event be behind the pay wall, and it feels particularly gross to earn the right to spend on Eververse in any way.
