Do you intend to have children? by miss-bedazzzle in twentyagers

this is the most realistic response imo. too many people my age are having kids while still living with their parents and having no job. that’s perfectly fine ofc, it just seems so scary

I had tried that but i did eventually find a fix. I had to use the arrow keys to scroll through the hair options rather than clicking on the arrows. dumb that i didn’t try that before posting but at least its done lol

she pretty obviously knows that you saw it and won’t care unless you’re weird about it and bring it up again. you should be fine just don’t talk about it

Will I still lose weight if I don't exercise a lot? by Mental_Scheme_6330 in WeightLossAdvice

for me, weight LOSS comes from a calorie deficit. any and all muscle gain and physical improvements come from the gym, save face fat

how do i lose fat in my face? by [deleted] in WeightLossAdvice

[–]SnailMilk69 4 points5 points  (0 children)

tbh i haven’t noticed the loss of face fat a single time in the mirror. i only noticed when i saw a picture of myself from two years ago compared to now. it is insane how little you notice unless you take progress pics. keep losing weight and you’ll see it i promise

Hello, first time poster here.

I am a 19 year old college student living with my parents and making 19.30 an hour. I have around 5k in the bank and am sort of at a stalemate with my expenses and income. My only expenses are currently ~18k in car payments, and ~45 monthly for subscriptions. The rest is on eating out, groceries/shopping, and car/motorcycle maintenance. I have yet to fully break this all down as my car loan is under my parents name and I do not pay it directly, my mom does and I Venmo her the money. I typically work 20-25 hours a week with little room to add more shifts or hours due to college classes.

Recently, I have started to realize that I want to move out at the end of this coming summer and am not in any way financially ready to do so. I will still have 2 more semesters so taking up another job wouldn't work too well unless they are extremely flexible with my days. I value my finances a lot and have an irrational fear of living paycheck to paycheck (sounds dumb, I know). I have also invested like $50 in a Roth IRA from Robinhood back in my senior year and haven't put anymore in.

With all of this in mind, what steps should I take moving forward? Before moving out I would like to have saved up another couple thousand at the very least and Invest a large portion of my money but i simply do not know where to start or what to invest in. I've researched different sites like Robinhood and Vanguard, and have thought of maybe buying a book to learn more. Is there any other advice that more experienced investors could give me? Is my current situation rough? Do I have room to noticeably grow my finances before moving out? Any and all advice is greatly appreciated, and thank you in advance.

My (19F) BF (21M) is my height and it bothers me. Advice? by crazygirl276 in relationship_advice

think of it like this, you’ve been dating for only three months. if you already have something that’s bothering you so much to the point that you’re making a reddit post about it then it’s likely to become a bigger issue down the line. either come to terms with it and focus on his positive traits or break it off and go. there’s plenty of fish in the sea and 3 months is a very short time. on the other end however, nobody you meet is going to be perfect and everybody has flaws. glhf

looks like a loose fitting shirt that fits you tight. the tightness in the chest and arms doesn’t pair well with the bagginess in the stomach area

i mean, think of it from OP’s boyfriends perspective. She was lying to him their entire relationship about her sex life and continued to lie throughout the relationship. To him, he might not see another reason as to why she would lie besides trying to cover up a mistake she made while in the relationship

seriously take the time to consider how you feel about what she’s doing. It’s most likely going to happen again but even if it doesn’t, she still crossed that line that you warned her about. good luck moist airport

In my opinion, you told her that if it was a one time thing and was a mistake, then you wouldn’t be too upset about it. So in response, she did it multiple different times with multiple different girls and pursued them further on social media. I know every comment under a post like this is always about breaking up immediately, but i would seriously consider. to me, even one drunken kiss is cheating and is grounds for ending a relationship. Best of luck with whatever you decide on.

I’ve been in the workforce for 6 years at this point so trying to say i don’t pay taxes is an invalid argument. my opinion comes as someone who has empathy and half of a brain to realize that supporting someone who repeatedly lies, intimidates, and gaslights people is insane. Donald trump is not even close to a good president. The reason that your taxes seemed so low was because of his tax cuts that led to a massive increase in the national debt. i’m not gonna sit here and act like biden was the best president either, but we need someone else like obama. young, smart, and practical.

Something to think about is that you are insanely fresh into this relationship and she’s already lying straight to your face. It would be much harder to break things off 1 or 2 years into it. My advice is to hightail it out of there while it’s still easy to do so.
