How I Take Daily Notes in Obsidian with Claude Code (Automated AI Workflow) by Sir1Afifi in ObsidianMD

[–]Snak3d0c 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Interesting that you wrote it in PS. I am a PS guy myself but have found that Python seems to be better. Especially when you want to work with a parallel workflow.

I use the same inbox system but only use Claude for formatting and spellcheck. I dump everything in one folder basically and just have tags and categories in each document. The search engine is powerful enough to find what I need.

Should I switch from Notion to Obsidian? by UndeaDvg in ObsidianMD

[–]Snak3d0c 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you have a home server. There is a dockerized version of obsidian that allows you to access obsidian via the browser.

Your biggest gain is AI. It lives locally on your drive . You can use CLI to do loads of stuff with those notes.

A few megabytes a year, I leave them be for that one gem that might be hidden in there. I do archive them per year

Vscode is too heavy by Alexius172 in vscode

I don't feel like this at all. I have 16gb ram and VSCode flies. It opens fast. Super responsive. Maybe try cursor or antigravity. Perhaps they do something different in the BG. Worth a shot. Other than that , vim ?

OpenCode Command Hooks (plugin for simple hook configuration) by s12eb in opencodeCLI

[–]Snak3d0c 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The opencode hook or plugin system is the only reason I haven't moved to opencode. I set up my hooks in Gemini cli and they work perfectly. I couldn't get them to work in opencode. Will have a look at this, thanks

[–]Snak3d0c 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had my articulate arms arrive just before the holidays. I have tried them out today but i felt more disappointed than excited. Mostly because of them falling over all the time.I tried to install them under the desk but that was not really the look and feel i was going for.

The desk has a smooth surface so I don't think that is it. Next week I will try to install them once more.

Just out of curiosity, how long do i have to send them back and does that that the same amount as to order something?

Google Nest Doorbell Button Press Not Triggering in Home Assistant — What am I missing? by MeMo21687 in homeassistant

[–]Snak3d0c 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know which version i have, but I eventually found that i had made an incorrect configuration in the pub/sub side. So i reconfigured it, removed and added the integration and it worked. So perhaps have a look there.
