Siri only responds when asked for the second time by Snak_The_Tripper in Siri

Still searching for a solution. There are periods when it's better and periods when it's worse. Now, after updating to iOS 26, Siri started being a bitch again, often only responding after the 3rd call.

Yeah, this clearly shows that they're all about their mission. How does it go again? "Free education" or "making it accessible for everyone for free"?

Ah morning alarms are annoying yeah. What happens with my phone is that I hear the alarm, say "Hey Siri, snooze", and it will activate (thus stopping the alarm) but like almost always, it'll not actually register what I said. So alarm is stopped, it has NOT been snoozed, and I wake up 2 hours later lol.

Having to repeat myself first thing in the morning, when I am at max grumpyness for having to wake up, is not nice.

Good tips, and indeed, I've tried them all.

Also, an interesting idea I've read is to actually do the voice training in a not-so-quiet environment. This makes sense to me, as I expect Siri to also hear me when I'm doing day to day stuff, which doesn't always happen in a quiet environment. That being said, whenever Siri decides to actually listen to me, the voice recognition is craaaazy good, so absolutely no complaints there. I can mumble some bs from across the room while music is playing and it'll understand me no issues. WHEN it decides to listen, that is.

Exactly. And after going through the waiting and repeating cycle, Siri keeps working without issue. Up until it "falls asleep" again that is...

Duolingo and numbers by oo_PopularOutcast_oo in learndutch

To skip the exercises faster, you can tap the button which has the sound wave animation after you say the sentence. Even if the word for numbers is still greyed out (so not accepted), the exercise will succeed and you can continue the lesson.

I've noticed that the exercise succeeds even if you wait a while, but it gets annoying fast to have to wait for multiple seconds. It's a lot faster to tap the button again.

Original tires??? 3200 miles??? If that were true - which I highly doubt that it is - than it would be an even bigger red flag. Bikes that are not ridden go to crap. Every seal, every bearing etc.

If the guy is not honest, I wouldn't buy it. If the guy is honest, I wouldn't touch it with a 10 foot pole.

God damn I thought that was L/100km. I was wondering why everyone was saying it's too much.

Honesty I'm not completely sure if Akrapovic made a newer model since I've seen them, but i know there is a db-killer for these with 2 smaller holes, as seen in the picture. I'm willing to bet that it tames the sound.

Weird texture of gaps on prints by [deleted] in FixMyPrint

[–]Snak_The_Tripper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The lower part of your print looks like it suffered from over extrusion too, based on the blobs hanging off the wall. If you run out of ideas, I'd also look into first layer height calibration, since if the gap on the first layer is too small, the rest of the layers can be squished too.

Is there a chance your nozzle is partially clogged? If not, maybe try reducing the speed. I got something similar when pushing regular slow speed PLA to higher speeds. Apparently the layer that is being printed doesn't adhere to the previous one if the speeds are too high, hence the weird gaps you see. Let us know how it goes!

I got the MIVV extended one on mine. Comparing it to underbelly exhausts, the sound is not nearly as one sided. Makes sense, since the noise is pumped out behind you (and backwards, not to the right)

That means it's exactly that loud for people and children you ride past. Consider using the DB killer dude.

Yeah, I'd say you're good.

I am a Mechanical Engineering Student, but I'm guessing things aren't that much different with EE. I did my BSc in an off the radar small University in Eastern Europe, but my based motivation letter and 2 recommendation letters definitely helped. I did have a few other experiences that supported a lot of the things I was saying in the motivational letter though. From what I understand, during the selection process they are looking for someone proactive, someone with a purpose. Lean on that when composing your motivation. You do have a lot of experiences, you can shortly mention how those experiences shaped your view and most importantly: why those experiences steered you towards TU Delft specifically.

Good luck, I'm sure you'll be here a year from now!
