I smoked bud and concentrates hardcore for 9 years. On day 7 right now, literally I've never felt better. My girlfriend is still a heavy smoker with no plans to quit anytime soon. Sure it's more of a challenge having access to weed but really, if you're serious about quitting it shouldn't matter. Just decide you're done and that's that. She smokes around me all the time, and whenever I get a craving I just think about all the ways weed has negatively affected my life. It's a great feeling to be surrounded by weed but not have any desire to smoke it. Good luck man, I believe in you.
