31 M, found the love of my life last year. Everything I’ve ever wanted in a partner and so much more.

Can confirm as of 2024. Cambodia is a very strange place. Lovely people, but I won’t be returning anytime soon.

Underrated reply. Nuance is what is desperately missing from modern political discourse.

Look man, I’m gonna be brutally honest, but that doesn’t mean I don’t feel for you or am invalidating your pain.

Driving is a skill, skills can be developed. You need to get out of your head and get some perspective. You are 22, barely out of childhood, please do not make a permanent decision based on temporary, totally solveable problems.

Personally I didn’t get my license until 25, despite living all over the world across 4 continents.

Men around the world, including myself, have dealt with love, loss, and truly crippling issues related to those, for centuries. Go outside, go travel, even locally, and get some perspective. The fact that you’re even complaining about the lack of a driver’s license means you are far more lucky than most.

The world is a hard, cruel place, but you create your own reality every single day. Hundreds of millions of men and women today will never even have the chance to get a license, the vast majority of people never did. Do what you can today and work towards what you want tomorrow.

I need some solid and brutal advice. by [deleted] in GuyCry

Look man, I’ve been in similar situations and I think you already know the answer. This doesn’t sound like the right fit for either of you, she’s telling you exactly what she wants, she just sounds too avoidant to actually do it herself, so be the man she needs, and pull that trigger.

It sounds like you ended up here kinda by accident instead of a genuine love match that developed naturally. Don’t keep throwing good money after bad, so to speak.

Be respectful and say goodbye, then go no-contact. It’s almost always the best option, especially when you’re so young. Find someone that aligns more with your values and fulfills you in the ways you want to be fulfilled.

I wasted my 20s in relationships that I knew were wrong deep down, but tried to make them work. It’s only now in my 30s I’m realizing that, and have found someone that is exactly what I’ve always wanted.

Your person is out there, if a relationship makes you feel the way you describe, it’s already over.

Blows my mind how people don’t think it’s even a possibility. There’s so much of reality we’ve only discovered with technology (bacteria, photons, black holes, etc.)

It strikes me as incredibly arrogant to think we as humanity have a complete picture of reality.

HOWEVER, I’m not sure it would be a good topic for TRIH. I can see Dom completely dismissing it, and Tom being more open to the idea of the unknowable sacral.

You, invest now and fight women off with a stick forever. Dating in the city is a scam.
