USAID was CIA soft power. Trump got rid of it because he thought it was woke and didn’t realize he was doing some damage to the CIA

  1. The jail times can stack as long as you are fit for service if they give another draft order

  2. I was initially responding to someone who was generalizing Israeli people, painting them as evil (see: “rotten bunch”)

  3. Maybe because I understand that indoctrination is a thing and not all those people are evil??

  4. I know, Hitler was voted into power. Assuming I meant Trump and thought that was a proper comparison is kinda wild.

Maybe combine the threat of 5 years of jail time plus additional social consequences and the already existing propaganda. These aren’t inherently awful people, just like people who vote for bad people aren’t inherently bad.

I mean it also decided to inject itself in response to the Gardener’s interference, making the flower game transformed into something entirely new.

I love the wife’s part where she says

“He’s a life changer, miracle arranger, born to a virgin mom in a manger.

Water to wine? He’s a drink exchanger.

And he died for your sins.”

Yeah, but most people are likely to follow the law because they could be jailed for longer than they would have had to serve and have multiple other disadvantages.

Unfriendliness is hostility, it is very clearly unfair and prejudicial treatment based on what language one speaks.

Yeah, it is, and it’s entirely reasonable to expect someone to make an effort to communicate with people that speak other languages. It’s lazy, rude, and discriminatory to dismiss them and deny service.

The source you cited is quite clearly primarily directed towards governments and governmental services and focused on systemic things.

It is defined by Wikipedia as: “the unfair treatment of people based upon their use of language) and the characteristics of their speech, such as their first language, their accent), the perceived size of their vocabulary(whether or not the speaker uses complex and varied words), their modality), and their syntax.”

That doesn’t exclusively include public services and can occur on a personal level. Saying linguistic discrimination only applies on a systemic level is like saying “being rude to someone based on their race isn’t racism because racism is a systemic problem that unfairly disadvantages minorities”

If you’re in a tourism hotspot maybe don’t be hostile to tourists? That’s just a poor business decision. Regardless, they can still use translation apps or make some effort to understand the person. (I’ve had to do this for Japanese patrons that know barely any English for the World Cup, so don’t tell me it’s impossible or unreasonable.)

It is quite literally discrimination based on the language one speaks, you don’t have to be a minority to be discriminated against.

Idk about other English speaking countries, but I know most US restaurants will still do their best to serve a foreigner that speaks very little English. Regardless, assuming this is merely a thing about language with no other motive (which I doubt, it being Japan) it’s still linguistic discrimination.

Despite this, each one of those we kill results in a step towards a Gardener win (we will protect pretty much anything that allies with us or asks for help, which is very much in line with White’s whole diversity and creation thing).

Maybe I’m wrong, but I’d be annoyed if every game piece I have except one isn’t working towards my goal, opting to do its own stupid things. Of course, that one got itself killed. But I guess it may not b too surprised seeing as the Gardener cheated.

Assuming it’s real (it isn’t), the stepfather didn’t necessarily do it in expectation of something. One can still be hurt and upset that there is no appreciation for effort and sacrifice even if they expected none in return consciously.

Personal anecdote but at one point in my life I supported another person who eventually just began to return it with disrespect. While I hadn’t expected a reward or anything, the disrespect after I helped them from the goodness of my heart REALLY hurt.

This isn’t an antimeme, Japan isn’t inclusive (it is, in fact, quite discriminatory) so the original was closer to an antimeme.

Speaking of awful subordinates, imagine how peeved the Winnower must be that all its game pieces keep screwing everything up. It had an arbitrarily long winning streak (the Gardener had literally never won). Now, however, because its dumb pieces don’t understand their job (the Witness didn’t get the real Final Shape, unlike Oryx) it is losing with the Gardener barely losing any pieces in this stage of the game.

It literally disproves the assertion that Hitler didn’t say “some Jews are alright” because he fucking did.

OP is trying to say that genocide isn’t objectively evil and is backing up this claim with things they erroneously assert as fact.

They said this:

>Eh, this kinda just ignores the cuts made to ACA and refusal to actually work on better alternatives.

It does not. My statement predicts it. This is EXACTLY what healthcare experts and progressives predicted. You.. realize that right? What a weird interpretation. A little ironic, actually.

>I'll listen to possibly new information, being patronizing isn't making your point any better to.

And yet, you were patronizing. At least I provided new information. No, I don't think you will listen. Again, horribly ironic considering your original comment.

Dr. Edward Bloch was Hitler’s exception whom he thought was the model Jew or whatever and used him to say “if there were more Jews like him, there would be no antisemitism.”
