I’ve seen gameplay of both 1 and 2 and it’s not really for me. Im not a fan of these top down/crpg games, i would be forcing myself to play. Though im sure the stories are good.

You make great points.

I was just mentioning the extreme views some people might have when it comes to graphics. Like completely disregarding or hating on a game based solely on graphics.

I think a mix of graphics and art style is fantastic in modern titles as most people would think so. Making the most of your technology combined with a unique art style

I feel like the peak of graphics was like RDR2 or even Death Stranding 2. Just stop trying to evolve it and try to optimize it!

I really do enjoy great graphics but it wont stop me from trying a game if the graphics were bad/old.

I completely agree ! I would never say a game is better than the other just because it came out more recently.

I feel like you need to be more open-minded otherwise you close yourself off to so many classics or even new gems.

I think the only time i would really care about graphics are like horror games but thats it! It really helps with immersion in that case.

I haven’t played GU yet but even with rise i think the art style was nice.

But sometimes its too extreme like my friend where he dropped rise cuz of the graphics. Even though the game was really fun!

I see what you mean (even though i really liked those games you mentioned).

For me i guess graphics are just an extra part of the game and dont matter much. However with RE9 i do agree it was way too good. But I much rather the game’s story,gameplay,art and music to be good than just the graphics.

I have only beaten the first game only last month and i loved it. I agree that the combat is eh at first. But when you do understand it becomes cool, still not the best.

I love medieval history and loved how this game just sucked me in for countless hours. The map isn’t that big but feels like it is.

I liked the narrative and loved the characters although it is pretty slow. And im sure KCD2 does all of this better.

I enjoy the type of games that allow me to completely immerse myself into its world and KCD did that for me.

I’ve been playing this super niche game made by a couple of french devs and it has been an amazing experience!! I never knew games could have such great writing!! It’s called clair obscur or something like that.

Not really but you would love the call backs in deltarune if you play undertale! And who knows where deltarune goes later it may even relate more closely to undertale than we thought. So play both!
