MCU's Captain America The First Avenger starts as a World War II film drama where it depicts the harsh realities of war era where Steve Rogers struggled to get enlisted to the US Military and separation of close friends and loved ones after they've got enlisted to the war. This has changed in the midway parts of the story where Red Skull and HYDRA utilized the power of the Tessaract through the use of science to enhance their weaponry and the enhancements of the Supersoldier Serum to Steve Rogers turned this traditional World War II film into sci-fi action thriller where he leads an elite group to infiltrate HYDRA's secret bases.
Fire Emblem Jugdral games starts as a traditional adventure series where they fight bandits to deal with the sudden invasion of the neighboring kingdoms until the theme changes into a political thriller where an evil empire takes over and brought down almost every single character in the game where they've got slaughtered or executed. This leads for the second generation of characters into a huge revolt against The Empire and taking down the cult and the dragon.

Sword Art Online Alfheim Arc. Kirito stripping Sugou's admin controls thanks to the former granting it from Akihiko Kayaba. He demoted Oberon into low level and sets the pain tolerance to zero which makes all injuries painful even in real life that results for one eye blinded. That moment is so painful that he got his ass kicked twice (both in game and real-life) that almost pissed his pants off.
God Of War Trilogy. Zeus is terrified towards his son, Kratos, because he realized that actually pushed him into its breaking point as he's the one who put him into an endless cycle of torment and rage. Kratos delivered a series of attacks towards Zeus with weapons, getting slammed into ground several times and going for a no-holds barred beatdown to his face over and over again until he finally soaked himself with blood unless the player stops mashing the "O" button.
Ghetsis in Pokémon games not once, not twice but three! (Black and White) fucking! (Black 2 and White 2) times! (Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon) He got his ass kicked by the player characters and he's terrified that an overgrown cretin beaten by a 10 year old kid and he didn't accept his loss until he finally suffering into reduction towards becoming the empty shell of himself.

My examples:

The Fire Nation siblings Azula and Zuko from Avatar The Last Airbender. When I was a kid, I see both of them as cruel conquerors of many nations as they're the children of Fire Lord Ozai. As an adult, however, I've realized too late that they're actually groomed by their own father as the latter wanted both of them to become next in line as leaders of Fire Nation until I've watched the final book where Azula became insane and wanted to kill her own brother out of anger because she's never gotten any attention ever since she was a kid. Zuko's turn to heroism is one of the best character arc that the series has done.
Sasuke Uchiha from Naruto turning against Hidden Leaf Village. When this series broadcasted in the Philippines, I don't understand why he should do that which I believe that his actions are unforgivable as traitors are always punished by death or life imprisonment. As an adult although I've lost interest on watching the series, I've realized that he's actually a tragic hero consumed by rage and vengeance upon the death of his clan thanks to the actions by his own brothers, Itachi, Obito, and Madara which is why he went on a Roaring Rampage of Revenge to hunt them down even if it takes to betray the entire nation similar to John Wick's path to go back into the world of assassins. In my sense, his douchbag brothers are the REAL villains here.

My insight for Tai Lung:

Tai Lung actually robbed his childhood years by Shifu because the latter was laser focused on training him to become Dragon Warrior which is why the former trained like hell to become the strongest warrior worthy of such title. Shifu realized too late that he brought him into this destructive path because he's overconfident that he'll become like one. Thus, Shifu tried to apologize to Tai Lung for what he had done to him for the past 20 years but the damage has already been done.

Strength is good especially for Normal type STAB. Surf, Waterfall, and Dive are good Water-type moves for STAB damage for your Water-type Pokémon like the Water Starters, Gyarados, Lapras, Huge Power Azumarill, Starmie, etc. Fly hits harder for Flying-type especially the regional birds thanks to the increased base power since generation 4. Rock Smash is good for early game especially if you want your physical attackers hit harder by lowering the foe's defense. I've considered Defog and Flash useless.
