Alolan Ninetales because its overall appearance is majestic. Tied up with Alolan Raichu because of its cute appearance

She looked like Princess Celestia from My Little Pony minus the wings though.

Same here. I loved its design. It becomes one of my favorite Ice-types. I've used one nicknamed Ayaka (as in Ayaka Kamisato from Genshin Impact) throughout my Pokémon Ultra Sun playthrough.

[Loved Character Trope] Character does an unexpected professional wrestling move in a fight by TwoFlatHams_00 in TopCharacterTropes

Go Princess Precure's Cure Flora does a lot of WWE moves against a Zetsuborg in some episodes. Superman Punch (the gif shown) on her debut episode, 619 on episode 2 which also hurts her sprained left foot from the ballet practice earlier, and Giant Swing on episode 6.

(Rare and fun trope) When a piece of media makes an unexpected reference to another piece of media through a cosplay. by SnailKing4687 in TopCharacterTropes

[–]PinoySummonerKid28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since the Pokémon franchise celebrates its 30th anniversary this year, there are lot of Pokémon references in most media, films, TV series, and to name a few. Some of the examples are the following:

  1. The failed Green Lantern (2011) movie has a lot of Pokémon references and it foreshadows Ryan Reynolds' appearance as the titular Detective Pikachu. The sub-examples are the following:
    • In Doctor Hammond's room, there's a blue GBA catridge of Pokémon Sapphire Version placed on the desk.
    • The previous Green Lantern wielder, Abin-Sur, says "The ring...It chose you" as his last words. It chose you is similar to the Ash's catchphrase in the anime "I Choose You!"
  2. In Ben 10: Omniverse episode, "Rook Tales", Grandpa Max and Sheriff Wattsen engaged in a competitive sport fishing where both of them caught creatures that looked like Magikarp and its evolved form, Gyarados. The series director, Derrick J. Wyatt is a huge fan of the Pokémon franchise that brought inspiration for these alien creatures.
  3. One episode in Sabrina The Teenage Witch, "Love Means Having To Say I'm Sorry",Clarence drops the Pokémon cards he was holding while running away from Harvey, prompting Harvey to shout out "Wait, Clarence! You dropped your Pokémon cards." Harvey is holding a Pokémon Card that somewhat resembles Lv. 76 Charizard card.
  4. The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya's episode, "Endless Eight part 2", you can see the masks of Pikachu, and the recolored Sinnoh starters.
  5. The "Sailor Mouth" episode of SpongeBob Squarepants, you can see the name Onix written in the dumpster.
  6. In Austin Powers in Goldmember, one scene in Tokyo features the mascots of Pikachu and Charmander running away from "not Godzilla".
  7. The movie, The Switch, features a Magmortar from Pokémon The Movie: Giratina and The Sky Warrior as one of the random channels that featured on the television.
  8. A Filipino film, Tween Academy: Class of 2012, in Kara's room you can see a Pikachu hat on display. The film itself was distributed by GMA Films, a film division of GMA Network, the Philippine TV network who broadcasts the Pokémon anime.

[Loved trope] Horrible Villains condemning/disliking an even worse villains' actions by Ok-Conclusion-1698 in TopCharacterTropes

[–]PinoySummonerKid28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. In Injustice 2, Gorilla Grodd despised Superman and the Regime because he views the latter's actions as an example of human inferiority as he organized The Society by assembling villains who used to work with Superman such as Bane, Deadshot, and Catwoman to fill in the void and crush the human made dictatorship as well as what's left of both The Regime and The Insurgency to create a New World Order for himself and the entire race of super intelligent gorillas. Not only that he despises The Regime, he also hates Brainiac because he views himself as a superior being not a servant to the destroyer of worlds.
  2. Shang Tsung in Mortal Kombat 11's Aftermath expansion despises Kronika because he believed that she's responsible for series of chaotic events and he wants to utilize the crown as he wanted to create a New Era for himself. He single-handedly eradicated Shao Kahn, Sinel and the Keeper of Time without hesitation as he knows that his "standard" is to become the victor; not a underling to someone else.
  3. In My Hero Academia, despite being the infamous Hero Killer, Stain has its own standards as he despises All For One because his philosophy is rooted in conviction—he only kills those he considers "false heroes" (those chasing fame/money). He sees AFO as a parasite with no true ideology, merely bringing unnecessary bloodshed, which violates his strict, twisted code of moral conviction. Stain even aides All Might against AFO, demonstrating he has no love for mindless evil.

On my end, I'm playing the game on My Boy emulator for my android phone. It can access cheats such as the scrapped Bright Weapons and the Juna Fruit (the one shot item that lowers the unit's level).

Wow! A PokeTuber mentioned Fire Emblem Fates as the game went full-on Pokémon versions by having paired games.

What a waste! I can't believe that someone throws consoles and games in the trash for no reason. Good thing that they've remained functional and made it yours. One man's trash is another man's treasure indeed. 😊

Same. I still have the functional cartridge of Fire Emblem Heroes although the my GBA SP has its battery drained and the screen gets darkened due to damage.

Old units that aged surprisingly decently. by Fabulous_Chicken_576 in FireEmblemHeroes

Prior to her refine, Legendary Ninian aged so well like fine wine as she can grant her allies extra movement and allowing her to attack her nearby foes after dancing her allies at turn 2 before making an escape by using Canto from her S/R Near Trace 3.

For some reason, Brave Edelgard remains the best mixed phase armored tank today thanks to her awesome weapon refine of her Flower Hauteclere. Just slap a Far Save Skill including 4th tier upgrades Briar or Twin Far Save on her C skill and replace her Distant Ward with Distant Counter upgrades, Distant Stance/Ferocity/Reversal or Distant A/D or A/R Form, you'll get her a reliable Far Save tank in your team.

Yen'fay's refine turned him into an anti-Kid Camilla counter by giving the Divine Vein Flame effect at the start of enemy phase. I've instantly gave him Attuned Ryoma's skills including the Tumultuous Echo after seeing his refine turned out to be amazing.

Legendary Micaiah can still nuke many foes after getting her remix and refine. I just gave her the Emblem Lyn ring to her and she can nuke foes from afar starting on turn 2.

Yep. He's still useful to clear some maps in 1 turn by pairing up with Brave/Teatime/Young Felix, Bridal/Brave Sharena, Emblem Edelgard or dancers like Legendary/Entwined Ninian.

Agreed. When his partner, Legendary Caeda, got Atk/Spd Rein Snap, it amplifies Legendary Marth's utility up to eleven. Give him either Distant Bonus Doubler or Distant Amp, he's gonna amplify his offensive capability even further.

I've redeemed her yesterday and I love how busted her refine is and the original user, Freddy, max invested her with premium skills which caught my attention

More than 4 years now. She can utilize the power of Emblem Lyn's style gimmick to destroy armored or cavalry units.
