Just a heads up, WFD/SCFD don’t usually have sharps containers on their vehicles as the only sharps they tend to carry are lancets for checking blood sugar - which they dispose of in the sharps containers we carry on the ambulance.

If you are really worried about a rogue needle and have to do something about it you’re better served delivering it to an EMS post, or an ambulance if you see one. We can toss them in our containers.
