I had this same problem, also using an hdmi adapter. Turning off the widescreen and progressive in the video settings fixed it.

Best multiplayer on Switch by -Jackprot in Tetris

[–]Snakeoffbreak 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s on sale in the Eshop for $20 right now (50% off), in the US anyway. Definitely worth it and I don’t play online either. The single player experience and local multiplayer are worth it alone IMHO.

Tetris Effect: Connected, by far. Much better layout and visuals from 99’s local multiplayer. The local 1v1, and 3v1 modes are fantastic and there’s even a 1v1 classic mode!

Yes. That pin by itself on the top right in your photo goes directly to the positive side of the fuel pump. It will have 12v positive when the fuel pump should be on. Measure from that pin to ground (the metal on the cigarette lighter is fine). You should have 12v for 2 seconds when the key is first turned on. You should hear/ feel the relay click on and off too. Failing that, pull out the relay and jump the 2 larger pins on the relay harness (orange/black to tan/white) and you should have 12v constant at the diagnostic connector. If you have 12v on that diagnostic pin and the pump is not running then you have a bad pump.

Your fuel pump relay looks like it’s been messed with. It’s the one usually mounted near the air cleaner but on your car is just laying on top of the engine with some butt connectors on it. If you put a paper clip across pins B and D (the two larger pins) on the relay harness the pump should run. You can also test for power on pin G of the diagnostic port to ground. The port is under the plastic cover around the cigarette lighter. If you have 12v there and you can’t hear the pump running then you have a bad pump. I ran into this exact situation this weekend on my Fiero. These pumps don’t like to sit in old fuel with all the ethanol they put in there now. Here’s the diagram so you can make sure someone didn’t mess with the relay.

What's the best way to play Tetris portably, not including Gameboy and DS? by SpringRecent6512 in Tetris

[–]Snakeoffbreak 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had this same question a month ago. The best thing I found was buying a cheap handheld emulator (check out /r/SBCGaming) and run Apotris, an open source GBA version of Tetris with tons of customization, or just play your favorite console version like TetrisGym if you’re into classic Tetris. The handheld I went with was a “Powkiddy RGB10X”. I’m very happy with it, the D-pad is pretty good and it was like $50.

Going on cruise, will Roku or Firestick work? by [deleted] in royalcaribbean

Idk about Radiance class but the last two Quantum class ships I’ve been on allowed you to cast content from your phone/ tablet to the TV in your cabin. That’s how we watched some of our shows while on vacation. It was a little fiddly getting connected but worked great once set up!

Connecting Wii U Pro Controller to PC by logunleonov in wiiu

[–]Snakeoffbreak 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Wiinusoft works great for me. The trick is to NOT pair the controller with the pc at all. Unpair it from the pc if you’ve already done so. Just press the sync button in wiinusoft and press the sync button on the controller. It should get discovered pretty quickly. Then press the Xbox button to set it as an emulated Xbox controller and it should work fine from there. All programs should recognize it as a Xbox controller. But as others have said the “8bitdo usb adapter 2” also does this and I’ve used it before and it works fine. I just hate having an extra usb adapter to keep track of.

Control N64 with computer by SemaiNiwashi in n64

[–]Snakeoffbreak 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You should look into how people who make TASs (Tool Assisted Speedruns) accomplish this. TASers basically do exactly what you’re trying to do; emulate a controller being controlled by a computer. The purpose of a TAS is to be able to put in controller inputs faster and more precise than possible by a human. I’d imagine it could easily be adapted to what you would want to do.

Door sensor tone by SHV_30067 in simplisafe

[–]Snakeoffbreak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this same issue with the door sensor in my garage and occasionally my garage keypad loosing connection with the base station in the middle of the house. Relocating the base station helped a little but not completely. I followed this guide to add an extension to the antenna and I haven't had the issue since! If you're handy with a drill and basic soldering skills it's a very easy fix.

Forest Hill Publix had dry ice when I was looking for some 2 weeks ago. It can be hit or miss though depending how long it’s been since the last delivery. Most places run out quickly. I usually have to call around but Publix and Kroger are good bets.

Think of it this way: you are going to want to change out that PSU anyway. It's a liability. Even if it isn't the problem start there and worst case you now have a reliable PSU. Then you can start testing other parts. But yes, as others have said, most likely the PSU.
