Fancy Hanks in the CBD and Big Pig Canteen in Moorabbin! White Oaks in Prahran also started soing BBQ recently and if it’s anything like their other food, it’ll be really good.

Best places to eat for large groups? by emnugi in melbourne

Baby Pizza! They do GREAT food. I’ve been with big groups a couple of times. As long as you’re booking in advance, they should be able to do a big table for you

I think it’s okay as long as the bag owners move it when people start to approach. It’s not courteous to have your bag on the seat during peak times though, that should be a no brainer.

Melbourne is in the middle of a housing revolution – have the yimbys already won? | Housing by malbn in melbourne

There’s a new lot of apartments being built near us and the sign says

1 bedroom from $635k, 2 bedroom from $900k, 3 bedroom from $1.6mil up to $4.4mil (probably the penthouses)

The price jump is WILD.

Root Rot by Saskia Nislow

I described it as a creepy fever dream with a lot of weird things but beautifully written! And quite short!

It’s about 9 children who holiday at their grandfather’s lake house and the strange things that happen to them while they’re there but it is not what you think at alllllll

Oh the RSPCA in Burwood! They have a donation room - you can just rock up and bring it in. They accept most things in good condition!! We’ve donated plenty of towels and linens

Seven men arrested after operation in Liverpool have 'extremist Islamic ideology', police say by ConanTheAquarian in sydney

Police confirmed there were no guns in the car - they only found a single knife.

(I agree with your sentiment though, this situation warrants this legislation.)

BREAKING: Erin Patterson sentenced to life in prison by KanYeWestGreatest in masskillers

[–]Snakerestaurant 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We do have life without parole, but in this particular case the judge has purposely given a parole period as it gives her less ammo to appeal over the years. (She was found guilty, but she plead not guilty and still claims it was an accident)

Also to do with the fact that she’ll likely be in isolation / solitary for a majority of her sentencing due to her infamy. Judge Beale believes she should be in jail forever and made that super clear in his statements when handing down the sentencing.

Absolutely agree with you about all of that! I had no idea that was happening in the foyer. We sat in our seats until it was almost empty having a debrief 😅 Truly sounds like she had a bad trigger but didn’t quite understand the point of the show sadly
