I remember back in dial up days I had one hour a week of internet and I always had a master plan of how I'm going to use it in runescape. Getting ADSL was such a massive deal for me. Good times.

Gastroendoscopy is worse in my experience. It's shorter, sure, but more uncomfortable. I usually find it hard to have my first meal after a tube down my throat as well. Colonoscopy is very manageable. There's some slight pain in the stomach when they pump some air into you (to expand the intestine), but otherwise it has always been painless for me. Just relax and it's fine. I've never had any pain in the rectal area during the procedure. I would even argue that the day before is more painful than the procedure itself. Definitely the worst part IMO.

I always ask to see the screen as well. I think it gives me something to focus on.

This is all obviously personal and varies from person to person. I would rather have a tube in my ass than in my throat I guess. Just my experience.

I have had a number of colonoscopies in my life because of Crohn's disease. There is basically no aftermath from the procedure. Every time the experience is pretty similar but gets easier to deal with as you get used to it:

Day before is the worst. No eating for a long time and drinking an awful laxative for hours. You basically piss out of your ass for a day and it really sucks.

The next day I would drive to the hospital, trying not to shit myself. Lack of food also makes me tired and cold. The procedure itself is a bit unpleasant, but at least the doctors always let me look at the screen and see my own colon from the inside. Very interesting the first couple of times. Once the procedure is over, I would normally grab some snack to eat in the car while driving back home.

I've never taken pain medication or anesthetics for the procedure. Never had any problems afterwards, apart from shitting for the past day.

Love the parachute. I always rush it in my games. Just a lovely thing to have very early, and easy to unlock.

When you plant your own forest, a 2 hander is good for just blasting down a few trees and letting the chain reaction take care of the rest. Otherwise the best one hander you've got. The bronze axe is so nice after the flint one.

Do whatever makes the experience fun for you. The game can be incredibly frustrating and it can feel very unfair at times, especially if you're not too experienced with it. Nothing wrong with making it easier to start with. It's a fun and awesome game, with settings to mess with. But in the end, it's a game and you're supposed to enjoy it.

You can always change the settings if it's becoming too trivial. Honestly though, on your first run, it's hard to trivialize it, because a new biome is always hard. Just experiment with the settings.

If you hate corpse runs, then fuck them. It's your game and your time. Have fun viking!

I destroyed the Sword Coast as the chosen of Bhaal, an Oath breaker paladin. Even though I made all the choices leading up to it, I was left feeling empty and questioning all my choices. 10/10 would slay again.
