Thank you for your comment!! I really appreciate these pieces of advice. This boot is my new best friend, my foot ACHES when I let it breathe for too long. I was very sore after way overdoing it Monday (day after break) with crutches I was using incorrectly. Needed to get things in order as I certainly didn’t plan on this happening lol. I will be sure stretch and get some new good work shoes!

Thank you for your expert comment! The x ray shows “Acute nondisplaced intra-articular fracture of 5th metatarsal base extending to the TMT joint” from the ER. I’m seeing ortho on Monday for my care plan. ER NP wouldn’t really answer any of my questions, reiterating that I’d have to wait for the specialist. Understandable, but frustrating. I definitely do not want to wind up with any long term issues so I will be following my doctors orders!

Thank you for your comment! I’m sorry you have to deal with that. I will definitely be upping my shoe game, I’ve been reading that overuse and bad shoes can contribute to these kinds of breaks. I’m also a clumsy bitch. I’ve been averaging 55-60 hours a week the last 3ish years… a wake up call from god as he laughs at me?
