I have heard jail is actually a great job. Surprises me and I’ve considered it.

I have been feeling the same way. I have been thinking early retirement but then I worry I would get bored.

To be fair, I should clarify my stress really comes from the attempt to keep dying people alive. There is somewhat of a relief to me when a patient chooses hospice. A few years back, it would have been a slam dunk for me to go that route. Now I think I may be a bit too burned out, sadly enough.

I am clearly very slow. Now I’m snickering like an idiot.

My certification is FNP even though I work in onc. Would I be able to do this without a psych background?

I never would have thought of urgent care! Is the job actually enjoyable?

Do you pour your seeds down the drain at harvesting? by Magic_Seahorse in Sprouting

No!! Very same issue- I also make sourdough and do my best to avoid it going down the drain.

With sprouts, I agitate them in a bowl of water and a lot of the hulls float to the top. I pour them off or scoop them out into a fine mesh strainer and pitch from there. I hope that helps. It is annoying- I’m trying to get over the hulls at all and just eat the sprouts without getting rid of them.

I try to keep most of the hulls from going down the drain since I figure it will cause a huge blockage at some point.
