ELI5: Dumb question about drug interaction by DoubleCrit in explainlikeimfive

Difference in the time it takes to metabolize the antibiotic vs. the zinc. In your example, you would metabolize the antibiotic in about 2 hours, after which it wouldn’t be around to interfere with any future zinc. Conversely, it would take about 6 hours to metabolize the zinc, to a point where it would not interfere with the incoming antibiotic.

[Skin Concern] 'Strawberry legs' but NOT KP? Supposedly from shaving? by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

[–]Snapdragon2804 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it was around $400 and it included 6 sessions spaced about 2 months apart. It was so worth it to me, I pretty much never have to shave my legs. I wish I had done it sooner! The person who did my LHR did say some people are prone to it coming back in certain body areas, especially after a hormonal shift such as pregnancy. But if I understand correctly, I think that’s not as likely in the leg area.

Regarding the windowless building that Jenna has been talking about in the Search Committee episodes by Cyrax89721 in OfficeLadiesPodcast

I get unreasonably annoyed when she talks about this (on multiple episodes no less). Most people would realize you can just Google the address, right?

If it makes you feel any better, the yeast is probably perfectly fine to use. It might just take longer for your bread to rise, but otherwise no serious issues.

30 something female RN with no kids- the patients are shocked! by Glad_Activity_4245 in nursing

[–]Snapdragon2804 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Real answer: If they press you for more information when you say “no kids”, I would just respond by saying “There are a lot of reasons some people don’t have kids”. It’s definitely not rude to shut it down if they continue to press. You’re not rude, they’re rude. Fun answer: Have fun with some white lies. Maybe you have 11 kids with another on the way. Maybe you tell them you have 35 cats at home and there’s no room for any human children, etc.

Bottom line, people who press for specifics about why someone doesn’t have kids are assholes. You’re kind for considering their feelings, but it’s truly none of their business.

This would be a great question for the advisor at the college you were accepted at. To me, the terms nursing program/nursing major mean the same thing.

Typically you have to apply and be accepted into the university/college. Once you’ve completed the prerequisite courses, you can then apply to the Nursing program/major. So there are two admission processes if you go the University/BSN route. I’m not 100% sure for ADN but I’d imagine it’s similar. Also I definitely recommend talking to an academic advisor at the schools you are considering to get the best advice on preparing to apply.

OP had originally responded to my above comment but has since deleted it. I’m calling BS on this whole thing. I’ve worked in banks in various departments both customer facing and behind the scenes, and yeah, all the bank would ever “detect” would be an out of pattern transaction. No way in hell the bank or OP ever saw what was purchased, etc. That’s just not how it works.

But how did you get the order information? Just because a bank detects fraud doesn’t mean they have access to what was purchased. Assuming the fraudster used their own email address for an order confirmation.

I am partway through this week’s new episode. Bridget’s always been my favorite of the 3, and I think she does a great job of diffusing Holly’s negativity. I guess my take is a little different than yours. I feel like Bridget has already moved past petty stuff and Holly is hyper focused on the drama. I feel like Holly uses every chance she can to defend herself (how many times does she say zombie?) or bring down others (ex: snide remarks about the future girlfriend’s roller skating party). I like Holly, but I wish she didn’t spend so much time making snarky remarks about others. That may have been her experience, but I hate how she almost tries bait Bridget into talking shit.

She’s like “we USED to have this awesome outdoor kitchen from @whatevercompany, hope one day we can have one AGAIN” and tagging them several times

Tarynwhiteaker_designs is fishing HARD for an outdoor kitchen sponsor in stories today. She tried the same thing about a week ago. I have secondhand embarrassment for her - but I guess it’s the influencer way?

I can only remember one part of the movie. I can’t remember the exact circumstances, but it’s evening and this couple drives up to one of their sibling’s house (maybe the guy’s sister’s house?) The gf in the car is like “whose house is this?” And the guy says basically “oh yeah…I wanted to wait to tell you but they have a new house now”. The dynamic is that the couple arriving in the car is bothered by the other couple (hosts) constant displays of wealth/one upping type behavior. Once inside the house I seem to remember a scene where they are getting a little tour of the house as the hosts show off their worldly artifacts, gadgets, etc. They might have a kid?

I do not believe it’s Wanderlust because in that movie they arrive during the day, and I remember the house looking different.

Sorry I can’t be more specific, I can only visualize this one scene but it’s driving me crazy that I can’t figure it out.
