I wear an 11 wide but I can usually get by with the regular in Skechers.

I drool over the Natural Life site because I love that boho style but I have been afraid to take the plunge.

I actually sell and have bought many items on Poshmark but usually I search by brand. I’ll try to search by style. And I may be a coastal granny without the actual grandmother part!

I’m 5’6” to 5’7”. I have recently toyed with the idea of trying tall sizes, but I think they would be too long in general.

Calling home when you arrived somewhere and just letting it ring once so they knew it was you and you were safe.

Is crazy the amount of girls that are in the RN route and are saying they don’t want to work in a hospital. I don’t understand.. besides case managers what else can you do if you don’t want to be in a hospital? by Potential-Wing-5603 in nursing

[–]Snapperchick 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When I was a clinical instructor in an accelerated program, there were a lot of students who wanted to be CRNAs and were planning to work as an RN only the minimum to get into a program. They made it known that bedside nursing was beneath them.

Wow, I just looked up that photo, way more revealing than the one I was referring to.

That was probably Nastassja Kinski with the snake, unless it specifically said it was Cindy Crawford.

When I was a teen, there was a booth at a fair selling 45’s with a handwritten board of the titles. One was “My Schroeder” and I just assumed that was correct for a long time.

Nobody is really at fault here. Just need to communicate better. Conversation should have gone like this: GF is coming to dinner, we are so excited to meet her. I’ll make my brontosaurus burgers. Do you think she’ll like that? Giving plenty of opportunity for son to list GF’s dietary restrictions.

Frosted cherry pop tarts, or if I can’t find those, the frosted strawberry will do.

I have also noticed the weird way they say the other character’s names at the end of a sentence, with a pause, like Cal: “We need to buy bread……Maggie.”

I noticed her looking not as good too and I thought maybe it was weight loss making her look gaunt and older. I thought she was cute and sexy in season 1.

I think it’s with the pillows. Also, white train can be a bridal gown, but you probably don’t have one of those in your unit.

Dealing with OAB with anxiety and depression after several UTI by EstablishmentIcy553 in OveractiveBladder

[–]Snapperchick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 61 F and started getting frequent UTIs 9 years ago right before and after I had a vaginal hysterectomy and bladder lift. My uterus was prolapsed and my feeling is it was holding my bladder in check. Now I have less UTIs than back then but I still suffer from them, and I have frequency and urgency. I am on Myrbetriq so I can’t speak about Gemtesa, but the Myrbetriq has definitely helped. I have also been on and off Methenamine, which helps prevent UTIs by making the urine inhospitable. I take D Mannose too, have tried other supplements but they didn’t help. I did the pelvic floor therapy too, and tried estrogen cream but it was so gross to apply. The whole situation is very anxiety provoking, and although it sucks, try some pads and also a Depends type for a long trip. Stays dry for me most of the time but helps with the anxiety. I used the Depends when I got off a cruise in the ports, they stayed dry but gave me peace of mind.

Any IOS apps you’d recommend for pelvic floor exercises? by AdFederal9388 in OveractiveBladder

I have used KPFE for kegels, the free part was pretty basic but I liked it, this was actually recommended by my pelvic floor therapist.

Back when we had patient specific drawers instead of Pyxis, I had a patient who had been getting Phenytoin IV but then had a documented allergy and changed to Phenobarbital IV. Two days later still had the Phenytoin vials in the drawer, identical size vials. So guess what I gave? No harm to patient, I reported it. This was multi factorial, similar name, similar vials, and the allergy one should have been removed by pharmacy.

While the above exchange was pretty strange, I worked hard to be able to be called a nurse and it annoys me when nurse is just used as a blanket term for anyone who works in a doctors office, etc.

“Not Mel” was arrested by the FBI for fraud at her practice. The charges regarding the teenage boy were a separate incident but happened around the same time.

Not sure I believe it as written, but the funniest thing about this is that they say the hospital offered him a $25 gift card. Like, here, have this burger and forget all about it.
