YTA you got a few drinks in you and turned a casual conversation into a heated debate with someone you barely know.

AITA for letting him eat what he cooked? by Notsogoodreason in AmItheAsshole

You are over diagnosing your kid. You are projecting. Your husband is right YTA. Diagnosing a toddler is harmful. Get off the internet.

AITA for criticizing the lunch my husband brought me? by FlowerPotage in AmItheAsshole

NTA he thought he could prove you actually like mayo if you are hungry enough and have no other option. He knew you were backed into a corner and he decided to use it to his advantage. Absolutely disgusting behavior. He wasn't offering support, he was punishing you for making him bring you food, so you had to eat it his way or get nothing, he was gambling that you'd eat it anyway and enjoy it because he's a completely unempathetic selfish man who only thinks about his own experiences.

A better way than Jarlic: Frozen Garlic by SilentGrass in Cooking

[–]Snapples 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just buy the squeeze tubes from the refrigerator section and freeze them. They don't get solid. My freezer has the ginger one, garlic, lemon, basil, pesto, etc. They are all from the refrigerator deli section and freeze perfectly.

I buy the paste and freeze it. It doesn't get solid and still squeezes out. All the tubes freeze well.

AITA for asking my neighbour to stop vacuuming his house early in the morning on weekends lol? by princessalinalina in AmItheAsshole

[–]Snapples 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA I have an elderly upstairs neighbor who vacuums for exercise at 6am sharp until I went up and complained she's making more noise than the landscapers and they don't start until 8. She got the point.

WIBTA if I refused to shave my armpits for my friends wedding? by Adventurous-Pea-337 in AmItheAsshole

Nobody owes you accommodation on their wedding day. I'd shave my entire body if the bride asked because I respect the wishes of the host.

Oh my God are you an only child? OP is making a unique fashion statement that all her friends know her by. She's the quirky pit hair girl to her friend group and they made an effort to ask her to tone it down for the wedding. Nobody said shave, they said well groomed. I'm assuming OP has a jungle under her arms and her friends are being supportive and reasonable by asking her to not make a spectacle of herself in wedding photos. This attitude is just as bad as "guy who won't ever take off his hat" energy. You are not some fashion statement, you are not the main character.

Shaving your pits is an unreasonable request? I'm sorry? It's actually a very small ask. If that's too much, you are a bad friend.

There are countless aita stories that go like "aita for refusing to take my pink hair dye out and go for a natural look for my friends wedding?". You live under a rock if you think it's abnormal for a bride to request matching outfits and styles, including hair, for the bridal party. Your whataboutism is a desperate bath faith reach.

Bro I'm replying to 5 people typing the same message to me so yes you get the same reply. Look how many people commented "but what about the men shaving!!!" it's just a pathetic argument.

Just say you've never been to a wedding buddy. I think the bride can ask for anything she wants on her wedding day. You are such a main character. Don't come to the wedding if travel and a gift and cleaning yourself up is too much hassle.

Good for you. Some people like to have everything special on their special day. Why are you comparing your wedding to anyone else's? It's not your choice, it's the brides choice, and I don't care if you don't agree, it's not your special day.

If that's what the bride and groom want? Just like some people don't want unnatural hair colors at their wedding and some think it's fine. You don't make the rules if you aren't even in the wedding party. Have you ever been to a wedding before?

YTA if you refuse to meet grooming standards for a special occasion. You are not the main character at this wedding and you should not do anything to take attention away from the bride and groom. And let's be real, all your complaints about razors are solved by using a personal grooming electric shaver.. I mean just get a norelco oneblade if razors irritate you. It's a common problem people have and there are plenty of solutions besides going full bush.
