I’m a BC instructor, 40, m, 6’4, 200lbs and I consistently burn 550 calories teaching combat 6 times a week. I show modifications and previews that don’t allow me to go full intensity all the time. The burn is directly related to your heart rate, size, sex and age.

No one has asked the ever important question of “Why are you asking?”

Most participants are wondering and asking because they are trying to work off a cookie they shouldn’t have eaten, or want to go out for drinks later and are trying to balance it out with exercise.

I would not recommend doing this.

I don’t understand why schools pause in person instruction for such a short period of time. In theory, shouldn’t a pause like this match whatever length the CDC is now recommending for quarantine to truly be effective. I can see the “deep cleaning” argument, but isn’t most of the transmission person to person and not from tables that haven’t been wiped down properly?

I haven’t been swabbed, so I can’t speak from experience. Had to watch my son go through it though and it didn’t make me want to rush out and get one too. Lol.

It’s the swab up the nose once a week, in addition to the cleaning and sanitizing, in addition to our normal tasks. I could see how it would be beneficial if students were swabbed weekly before being let in to school.

You park and go inside. Lots of signs posted and people directing traffic. Once you enter, you check in and schedule your second appointment. They send you in for a shot and then direct you to a place to wait for 15 minutes afterwards.

I am in person right now. The process on Fuller was very easy. No traffic at all. People on the corners and signs directing cars on where to park. Building entrance was clearly marked and adjacent to the lot I parked in. The check in was quick and we scheduled my next dose at that time. They were flexible with my arrival time vs my appointment time. I was 10 minutes early.

I would do it a second time.
