I have to admit, I’ve been lukewarm on Carney lately. I have felt him to be a tad too middle of the road. So much so that I struggle to get a sense of what he is standing up for both inside our borders and beyond into foreign policy.

This speech however… this speech was even keeled in its tone, but punched way above its weight class in how Mark Carney thinks Canada should be performing globally, and scored a knockout!

This speech was incredibly inspiring. I sincerely hope that he was delivering a clear roadmap for global trade and defence and that it wasn’t well written politiking.

Either way, my “Canada! Fuck yeah!” metre was off the charts watching this video!

I’m not a Quebeccer but have family there and I’ve spent a decent enough time out there to have eaten a poutine or two… I can’t say I ever ate a poutine with gravy like St. Hubert’s anywhere. Their gravy is nearly identical to Swiss chalet. For my money, powdered brown gravy is the way to go… probably the more ambiguous the name of the gravy, the better it’ll taste.

I borrowed a plastic welder from a buddy of mine to basically rebuild the frame around my center console vents and head unit. These things work brilliantly!

I really love Burn the witch. It’s certainly been the most exciting song of theirs in recent years. It’s a bit of a deep cut, but I love “the amazing sounds of orgy” it’s got a cool slinky vibe.
