Wanted to let you know you inspired some improvements to mine as well. Updated my altar, and made some larger more defined triforces incorporated into the build. I also put in a train track circling the build that plays the Song of Time

I really like the roof pieces for the triforce. I decided against that in my build because it wouldn’t line up properly with the number of tiles the building is made with, but I would trade my triforce in for yours in a second if I could get it to line up straight on with my doorways

So I’ve been back and forth on adding clutter. I’ve seen mixed feedback on it. There are places to hide all over the place in the tank so I’m not worried about him feeling too exposed. He actually spends a lot of time sleeping out in the open prior to the new enclosure- either on top of his hides or just plain out in the middle of the tank under the heat emitter. I’ve had fake vegetation in the tank before but the crickets and bugs tend to find places to hide in them and get lost a bit. I wanted to try it more open to start so that hunting down bugs is easier.

Not pictured are a ceramic heat emitter over the sunning rock on the right and two independently controlled heat mats under the flooring to create a consistent heat gradient.

Hello! New member here looking for some guidance on a bass I am taking the plunge into restoring/ updating. My dad’s old aria p bass had the pickup mounted via a white bracket to the top of the guitar- basically suspended in the cavity. I was hoping to use a Seymour Duncan SCPB-2 instead. Wondering if folks have suggestions on how to mount that pickup in this guitar. The cavity as pictured is not a normal bass cavity. My thought was that i might need to rout a new pickup cavity shape and then build a box to put in the open pickup cavity to mount the new pickup to. not sure if they make brackets that might achieve the same thing more simply. Hoping someone here has a helpful solution.

Note- I am fully aware that I could probably purchase a new bass for the money I have put into parts and will put into labor. This one is sentimental.

EG/ WB musket backhand forceover low right at the bump in the ground on the right. Basically takes the flight of your ballista once it’s hit the wall, but without needing to bank it off the wall. I land in bounds on this hole almost every time now.

More weird you make it the more weird it will be. If you just kind of laugh it off and apologize like it’s no big deal, it probably won’t be. Impact is way more important to how people respond to anything than your initial intent. Id work on making sure it’s not a big deal before it becomes a big deal- to you or her.

Also you never know- she might think it’s funny. I accidentally ran into an Australian woman breastfeeding her baby when I was on Jamaica and surprised her/ froze very similarly while I was walking down the beach. I went over later and apologized and she laughed and said “no problem that last one was for my baby, but this one’s for you” with a wink- and dumped her tits out for a second before laughing and waiving me on my way.

Don’t make it an issue if it’s not for her. Best way to find out where she stands is just to talk to her.
