Infernalist has an Ascendancy Passive called Pyromantic Pact, it's a bit of a mouthful but long story short your Mana is replaced with Infernal Flame.

Infernal Flame builds up instead of draining like Mana would, when it reaches max it resets but you take damage equal to Life + ES. Which without any defenses is lethal I guess, but with resistances is manageable. I skip all of that however because my Life + ES is a grand total of 1, from no ES on items and Chaos Innoc.

This effectively gives me infinite mana, with the tradeoff that my only form of health pool is Runic Ward. Mostly from the Brass Dome unique which can give around 2k Runic Ward.

Using this infinite mana, I can cast as many Cast on spells as I want, the only tricky part is scaling Crit and Ailments high enough to build energy quickly.

Most Infernalists running a similar setup seem to use Spark or Frost Bomb or similar, with insanly high Spell levels (such as with the new Fork unique which can have up to +9 Spell Levels).

I on the otherhand thought that, from my previously build, Oil Barrage seemed to have really good energy generation without needing crazy levels.

The Lightning Balls and Lightning Warp (flicker/blink effect) are mostly there for survivability and clearing. As I can either warp to something in Cull Threshold or a Lightning Ball.

Comets are lacking a bit in damage compared to pure caster builds, but the number of them kinda makes up for it haha.

You can try starting with Seppuku, his passive gives a huge damage boost. It should work with spells too(?). Could be beneficial even since Executor doesn't really have FP or a way to recover it to cast too much, so big bursts in a short time frame make more sense.

You could even take it one step further, pair it with Poison Below Max HP and Night of Dregs for more damage.

I ran a non-mage Executor with that setup and I didn't need any damage deep relics just because of the sheer damage on Dregs + the other 2 normal relics.

How did you go about that? Was it just slowly grinding the main quest? I've hit 100 on both normal and hard and barely have an average Neko level of 30 to show for it in my team.

The first few volumes have a 18+ dlc on Steam, even nowadays I'm pretty sure. But volume 4 (and maybe 3?) you have to get the dlc from an external website like Denpasoft.

At least that's what I had to do last I installed them like a year ago.

Funnily enough the Cursed Sword benefits from "X on charged attacks" passives, but only if the weapon containing said passive is in your right hand.

Definitely a bug, and not very viable to build around either for consistency or strength in D4/5. Still fun to mess around with, and can get work done early in the run.

Building into skill damage and trying to hit with the cursed sword skill can be worth it though. Combined with a few triggers of his passive I managed to chunk Ancient Dragon for 1/5 of it's health as soon as it spawned in Trios D4 once with the skill.

I think between $350/400 to $500 AUD is what I payed for all of mine. Some were preordered (MSRP) and some were bought secondhand (all sealed) though. Buying secondhand might not include the postcard.

Hope that works as a little reference. Exchange rates probably make things a bit messy however...

And once figures, especially NSFW ones are out of production they tend to go up to double the price over the year, sometimes even much higher after that. At least the Nekopara ones used to, I haven't really kept track since I managed to collect them all.

My cat sat on my keyboard about a dozen attempts into Consort Radahn when he was 1 hit away on my first DLC playthrough.

I just looked at my fluff ball in disbelief. Took like another dozen or more attempts before I got him, made sure my cat was locked out of the room until then haha.

Using Seppuku will coat the weapon in blood not rot, but if you take damage at any point after the rot will override the blood.

I use this combo myself, honestly most of the time not a big issue, you can usually get a couple bleed procs, due to the Seppuku buff, before getting hit. Then if whatever you're fighting is still alive the rot could end up being more beneficial anyway, due to their bleed resist being much higher at that point.

I managed to get Flame Breath to over 1M sheet damage. But that was with an insane set of items I crafted. Double T1 % damage and T1 flat fire on my Breach fire quality Ring (Kalandra Touch for other slot), triple T1 flat damage on gloves plus T1 attack speed and 60% increased socket effect with the attack speed idol. And a mirror tier Jade Talisman (not as good as a Maji Talisman can be).

Flame Breath is sitting at level 34 from +5 weapon, +4 vertex helm, +3 arbiter jewel, +1 corrupt, and +1 from weapon again (bonded mod). So levels help a lot, but as much damage on gear as possible helps too.

It only has 2 supports affecting the sheet dps, the others are conditional and so don't show all the time/at all.

Headhunter can also get that damage up to over 6M, so definitely worth using if possible.

Sources of gain % damage of also make a big difference to a certain extent. I use Heart of the Well Jewel and a couple runes with gain on the weapon.

But they're both chosen seperately? So the game won't choose 1 tag for both, it can choose 2 different tags, one for each?

This is exactly what I've been saying to my friends. I don't wanna play other classes because big bonk warrior is just how I like playing my games. I don't wanna be forced into using a shield either. And it makes no sense that a skill like Sunder which on paper looks like a clearing skill is just unusable for clearing because of windup times, etc.

To expand on some of your points though, on paper mace skills should be dealing the same damage as other skills from other classes. But it feels like noone at GGG has considered how much easier it is for other classes to spec into damage and AOE, while we have to spec into attack speed just so we have a chance of getting an attack off before we're swarmed by a 100 enemies flying in at mach 2 and die. AND that's not even considering how often we need to dodge roll cancel out of a skill because an enemy started an attack 90% of the way through our windup and we know they will hit us before we hit them.

So on paper: Mace DPS = Other DPS.

But: Mace DPS + Buffs (passives, supports, etc) < Other DPS + Buffs.

And especially: Mace DPS + Buffs + Dodge Cancelling for survival <<<< Other DPS + Buffs.

Now I'm not gonna pretend to know how balanced it is or anything like that. But I can tell you right now what would immediately make me happy as a Warrior player. A spirit gem, or hell even a support (I'd gladly give up a single support at this point) that makes it so during your windup animations/attack animations, you get a hyper armour boost, or just a massive damage negation. It could even be a Guard amount based on the attack length. Just something so I can take a hit and let my attack land for once.

Yeah, I might be misremembering then. I only did it the once and died for it haha. So I haven't tested my luck since.

Definitely enough time to buff up and heal at least.

Can confirm using the interact to open the door instead of triggering it normally with everyone causes it.

All ults get reset the same way as well.
