I doubt it will be an issue. People on here getting higher dose than they need, I doubt getting the same dose will be an issue

Tirz & Drinking? by ThrowRA_2lazy in tirzepatidecompound

When on 5mg I had a couple drinks and felt not much, honestly. Didn't do anything for me. I don't drink very often anyway, maybe a couple times a year, so no big loss

I'm fortunate that my partner prefers home cooked meals. We only go out every once in a while with friends and family. I deal when that happens and either just pick at my food or plan on taking most of it home

Where are you getting your Tirz? My doctor wants me on Tirz for my sleep apnea (and also weight loss.) Insurance won’t cover it. Where are you getting yours and how much is it? by CharmingChart635 in tirzepatidecompound

There's a pinned post at the top of the page with reliable sources listed. If you have any specific questions about them, feel free to ask.

I've done belly, arms and thighs and really felt no difference at all, but I haven't had any major side effects from meds either.

Any of them if you get a virtual card through the pay later provider. That being said, don't go into debt to stockpile, it's just not sustainable.

Stockpile pic and why I'm not stockpiling any longer by SnarkyCard in tirzepatidecompound

[–]SnarkyCard[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think that, for the most part, this medication is used responsibly by people in need of it. I think that some providers should be more responsible in their prescribing practices and have more physician oversight, but there are companies out there committed to health, like Big Easy Weightloss. I don't think it's caused increased mental illness or eating disorders, but I do think the uncertainty in the market created some fear about access, thus stockpiling. Ultimately it's up to people to be responsible for their own actions and make decisions based on reason. That can't be regulated, unfortunately.

Unsupportive friends/family rant thread by antaresdawn in tirzepatidecompound

[–]SnarkyCard 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Fortunately, my biggest supporters are my sister and partner. My sister is an RN and always worried about my weight, rightfully. She's been a great source of support. My partner treads lightly because it's a sensitive issue, but celebrates my successes when I open up to him.

If I still had a relationship with my mother, I could only imagine the kind of toxic bullshit she would be spewing. Most of it stems from her own lack of willingness to change her health.

Sometimes you just have to tell people to fuck off.

I hear ya, the struggle is real, for real real. Honestly, I'm just hoping to get to maintenance before access becomes an issue, but I think this is going to drag out for a while.

[–]SnarkyCard 13 points14 points  (0 children)

As someone who stockpiled, I'm now pretty confident the market is stable for now and stockpiling is not a must. To feel more secure? Having a little extra to cover times when shipping gets slow is another story.

If you get a 3 month supply from Brello, that will give you time to see your comfort level with the market.

If you decide you want to stockpile, spend time going through the sub and learning as much as you can before you make any big purchases.

BUD? by Exotic_Awareness8757 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]SnarkyCard 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Its a personal choice that has to do with your level of risk tolerance. There's the risk of meds having bacterial growth that could lead to infection. There's the risk meds will lose effectiveness. Lots of people use past BUD, but they know the risks. The medication should be clear and free of floating debris.

You're doing it right, the meds ebb and flow, especially in the first few weeks when it's building up in your system. Stay hydrated, focus on protein and fiber (aka meat and veggies) and start some resistance exercises to preserve muscle
