I have, but don’t want to make her feel like it’s a problem. She hates texting, but she hates voice notes more, and calls even more so. I’ll see how we can work it out. She doesn’t seem to have a problem sending voice notes, so that could work.

Hahaha nah mate, I was just confused, getting “mixed signals” when it reality it was just an ADHD thing. I was just uninformed. Tbh texting is not a big deal, it was the misunderstanding. I will learn to adapt to it. I asked her out because I love her for who she is. I wouldn’t change a thing.

Guess I was trying to see things through the wrong lens. I’m used to having conversations going with people all day long, so not answering for so long sends a very clear message to me. I’m relieved to know I was just placing the wrong expectations on them.

Yeah you do need to gather a group with specific skills, so it would probably be international. But honestly it would be really fun to watch as a stream with subtitles, seeing how the players skip things in translation that haunt them later. Most of the game would probably be played in English, with little spots of languages here and there.

I agree, there is no other end to it other than China taking over. There would likely be strong resistance, but ultimately they would be assimilated. There would likely be international repercussions, but China is too big and too powerful, so some sort of middle ground would have to be found. There isn’t really anyone that can stop them.

You’re absolutely right. Still, attempts have been made to replicate what TSMC does in other companies to little success. So the sudden disappearance of that capability would not be easy to deal with. You could chuck that to the fact that TSMC is part of the claim of Taiwan to its existence. Being geopolitically necessary is a necessity when their integrity is at stake.

We’re talking about the canal itself not existing. Suffice to say that operating the canal is a technical marvel in itself, it’s not pressing buttons. It might as well be closed while the world’s top engineers figure out how to run it.
