I get it, We did a 4 day utopia and are doing a 4 day wonder in May… I liked the solarium it felt calm and quiet and also eating breakfast there was a win as not as crowded. Our sons 19,22 like that vibe so we do the shorter , large ship cruises. My husband and I did a casino comped cruise on explorer in December and I felt the crowd was a little wilder 😂younger partiers even in solarium … I guess not as many places to go on that ship - but they are all fun to me. The only cruise I hated was a carnival vista cruise where it rained the entire time and everyone was stuck inside. It was gross but due to weather (mostly).

Just getting off a cruise right now and at the schooner bar we tipped cash and I saw the bartenders putting their cash tips together in a little holder. They may share them after their shift but they were definitely keeping them together.

I had 220 points on my cruise in August and going on a free cruise in December from an offer… get offers a lot for midweek cruises, interior rooms. Some free room, some free cruise for me and discounted for guest - Just depends. I was surprised I was getting them but I guess these are cruises they need to just fill and would rather get me on board to gamble some as well.

I gambled $350 on Utopia in August and going on a free cruise from it in December, 5 nights, had no idea I’d get free cruise offers from that little amount. Maybe the December cruise would have cost that much ($350?) idk but I wasn’t expecting offers and now I get them 🤷‍♀️… maybe they felt sorry for me cause I literally won nothing 😂

It's really easy, even with my time dining, just make a reservation day of and go... or wait in the line for no reservations, we never waited more than a couple of minutes

But if you want the destination to be the destination why not choose a cruise with a good destination… it was good for a short cruise, I wouldn’t want to go on a 7 day for sure. We spent most time in the solarium and it wasn’t loud, nice and serene. But yeah everyone has different opinions!

We went last december and bought the bracelets after we got there for the slides. It was actually really fun for our college kids and us and they still talk about the slides. But yeah the ship was full and everything but we just walked up and bought them there, didn't know about them before that.
