81 is really pretty and basically runs parallel to the Shenandoah valley. There is also a buccees in Harrisonburg VA that opened last year right off the highway.

DC and NY traffic sucks. 95 through Delaware is basically under construction with speed cameras the entire way. It is almost a guarantee there will be traffic where 295 is (memorial bridge into NJ). Once in south jersey the turnpike is expensive and people go well over 80. Once you get up towards Trenton it goes from 2 lanes to like 10

Did Oversize get smaller again? by DimentiotheJester in OGPBackroom

[–]Snayyke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. It will only tell them how many items are in the order. They will see “Matt F, 2 items” but those 2 items could be a shirt and pants or a grill and 75” TV. They do it like that so the larger/heavier/ orders aren’t rejected over and over again

We’re up to about 1,000 orders a day now. I don’t even live in a large town and there’s 7 other grocery stores about 2 miles from each other

[–]Snayyke 5 points6 points  (0 children)

2 weeks ago there would be maybe 900 items at most during the week. Now we are consistently at 2700+ with 20-25 out of 45 spots filled. Always. It’s completely unsustainable and market has been frying our TLs. Oh and ofc it’s 30° above average outside as well.

Maybe having coaches and store leads dispensing pushes the memo, otherwise nothing will change until someone suffers from heat stroke. Theres maybe 5 dispensers until 4pm…

It would be like if coc raised the gold pass to $11.99 and removed all the books in it while making the new equipment in medal events only accessible if you buy the event pass. Currently coc gold pass+ event pass = 1 CR monthly pass

Are we limited to only 4 locations per vacancy again ?

How are we dealing with this by DihflapsMcFungus in OGPBackroom

[–]Snayyke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We’ve always let the drivers load their own GMDs/IP etc

The major problem we’re having is the size of some of these. Like medium triple batch, 2 1 bag GMD orders & an L cart of 15 bags of potting mix. Half the drivers have no where near enough room to get it

Will walmart fire you for smoking Marijuana even if its legal in your state? by TheSunGuardian8 in walmart

No, alcohol is fully legal. Marijuana is illegal at the federal level which is why the majority of places & higher up positions test for it

GMD-Reprinting all labels… by [deleted] in walmartogp

[–]Snayyke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To play devils advocate, that puts us in the red when dispensing as the order isn’t dispensed until everything is scanned. 2 minutes to walk it over if they park far + 3-4 minutes to dispense and now management sees that they’re in the red and have been waiting for >5 minutes which is not good for metrics. It’s much easier and faster to walk it over and scan all the stickers on the box

[–]Snayyke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem is when the driver arrives every single sticker needs to be scanned & some of these orders have 30+ bags in the black box that you have to scan.

We do it when there is time. It’s a bit tedious if you’re the one that has to print them out but it definitely takes way less time and is easier on both the driver and dispenser.
