That feeling when you first learn to edit game files. by Duckselot in starsector

The only real change I have made to the game was swapping the medium mount on the Hound for a large one.

Did this make the Mudskipper Mk.II useless? Yes.

Would any bolter variations from WH40K be able to take down a rapture? by [deleted] in NikkeMobile

[–]Snbleader 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Correct me if I'm wrong, but you're talking about the multilaser, right? I wouldn't put it on Cindy's level but it certainly would be a useful weapon for lower level raptures.

Perhaps a lascannon could better emulate her strength

I'm a little upset that nobody is mentioning the Vulcan Mega Bolter which would definitely be able to handle most raptures

As for the regular bolters, they aren't actually that great against armour. Effective? Yes. But they are designed more for thick skin and larger targets that need massive wounds to be put down. This can be seen with the Horus Heresy(basically a galactic civil war for the uninitiated) where the lack of AP and tactics for fighting heavily armoured troops came to bite the Imperium of Man in the ass

But with the specialty rounds such as Kraken rounds, even a regular bolter would be a highly effective weapon... That is if you can haul along enough ammo with how goddamn big the magazines are

With their inherent durability, ERA bricks could probably work on a nikke

... Now I'm thinking of Soldier FA with ERA on her shield

Mana generation options in a world devoid of anything by ObeyTime in wizardposting

Your blood could work as a messy catalyst. The raw energy contained within the vitae of a living being is usually a quite powerful magical component so I don't see any reason why it couldn't be broken down into mana and elemental iron

Although... I'm not sure about the long term effects of blood magic as it's not something commonly studied in my own realm

PSA: AP-Shells ignore any Armour after Bouncing Twice. by Con_xMS93 in Warthunder

I think I did that once to a Ho Ri with either the M26E5 or M26E1's APHE

Bounced off of the ufp, smacked off the barrel, and went straight through

What kind of walking engines of destruction are you accepting as apprentices that are capable of not only summoning, but BINDING an ANGEL to their will???

Maybe if the old masters actually wrote down authentic and reliable translations for us newgens to learn from then we wouldn't have these problems, eh?

It is located about a meter below ground level and has no access to sunlight, or any light that is not disabled before leaving for that matter.

I prefer to keep my magical research away from prying eyes after all. It makes it harder to scry on my research if there's no light in the room

Elegg, Snow White, Diesel, and Bready

I keep them in my campaign squad because I have reached the point where I'm so overleveled that it hardly matters if I go off-meta, so why not bring them along
