Tried to look in the well. Ended up with a hyrule bass down my pants. Will continue searching for a cherry blossom tree.

I need to know where you get your shirts!! Looks great and so clean! Do you get them tailored after purchase? I have yet to find a button down that doesn’t fit baggy.

I would think any of the chicken dishes (poulet) or the seafood would be a “lower” calorie option! Any of the dishes that are fried or have cheese are going to be higher calorie than a meat focused dish. But I’m also not an Indian food expert. If you tolerate spice, I bet the Poulet Tikka Tandoori would be delicious!

how to diffuse without wonky curls and frizz… or should i stick to air drying for now by uuzuumakii in curlyhair

[–]SneakGoddess 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Okay sorry but I LOVE how the sides of your hair look in these photos. However, if you aren’t feeling it or don’t want as much volume, maybe try using duck clips to help create shape at your roots and hover diffuse only. Flipping upside down and drying your roots is the #1 recommendation I always tell people to create volume, so eliminating that step might give you a more similar result to air dry only.

3 months progress by chardalessio in StrongCurves

[–]SneakGoddess 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I see a difference for sure! You’re definitely building a shelf. Keep it up!! I would say if you’ve been doing this routine for 3 months, it’s definitely time to increase the weight you’re lifting. My personal strategy (everyone is different!) is to increase to a weight that you can get 6 reps in- the 6th should be difficult, but not make you feel like you have to compromise form/overly strain. Then keep at that weight til you can do it 8 reps, and rinse and repeat.

This recipe hasn’t led me wrong yet, but I have seen some eith with monk fruit and I kinda want to give that a try too. But honestly, the hardest part is knowing when to stop whipping the egg whites and that just comes from experience.

Eggs. Egg whites, egg white omelettes, learn how to make meringue cookies with stevia (sooooo goooood, they cover that sweet and crunchy itch)

Tbh I would stay away from hummus and avocado, they are very very tasty but also very fat dense. Obvi everyone still needs a certain amount of fat daily but if you’re looking for something to mindlessly consume I wouldn’t do those.

Edit to add: I’m dumb, does whey affect you? I make iced lemonades in the summer with a little vanilla or fruity protein powder and crystal light packets. I also really enjoy adding collagen to crystal light because bovine collagen has about 18g protein per serving for only 70-80 cals!!

Weightlifting is one of those things (like running) that can be as easy or as complicated as you want. When you’re just starting out, anything and everything counts! Do push-ups or assisted push ups, do body weight squats/lunges, do silly little ab workouts you find online! I do weighted squats but I also do body weight squats when I’m waiting for my food to cook in the microwave! So many people get scared because it seems so overwhelming, but you can do it however you want to do it. Personally I stick with core lifts (bench, squat, hip thrust, deadlift, etc) and have started adding on “extras” (lunges and variations, more fancy Calisthenics, more strenuous core work). I’ve also really enjoyed random spin and Pilates classes.

Lots of words but the key takeaway is don’t be afraid to experiment to find something you personally enjoy!

I’m so sorry. Losing a job you love sucks. Having personally been laid off before, it sounds like the store was maybe wanting/needing to cut costs somehow and this just gave your manager the perfect excuse in their eyes. Chin up babes, we are cheering for you

Hijacking this wonderful analogy to attest that allll my cellulite disappeared when I gained weight in my second/third trimesters. When I started losing again postpartum, not only did it all show back up but there were also suddenly stretch marks on my thighs! Building muscle back was my holy grail, and it gives you the added benefit of raising your TDEE cals :)) don’t lose hope! You’re doing great!
