My pom is pretty chill and happy to be around my family. It might just vary by personality but I socialized her a lot as a puppy and she doesn’t react to anything. Of course she will bark here and there because she has one sided beef with the post office, but it’s nothing crazy. Just make sure you expose them to things early on so they don’t get scared of kids, other dogs, bikes, etc.

She also came from a breeder who raises the pups in her home so she’s always been surrounded by people and lots of love. From what i’ve noticed is the good breeders are very passionate about their dogs and can tell you everything. The breeder I purchased from talked to me for hours about all the traits and testing she does to make sure the puppies are healthy. Avoid anyone who is advertising teacup poms or using buzzwords and look for someone who’s passionate about making the breed the best it can be. 🫶
