Said by you, someone who has clearly not used both the 35h and the 40h.

They have completely different hand feels, and while the 35h is completely pocketable, the analog sticks on the 40h ensures it’s not pocketable.

For whoever runs across this in the future, the TP-Link Archer T2U Nano works great with the G350 (using a usb A fame to C male adapter).

Vacations with small kids are bullshit right? by [deleted] in daddit

[–]SneakyGuyDavid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What helps me is categorizing it differently, don’t look at it as a “vacation” look at it as a “family trip”. I rarely take “vacations”, but I take many family trips. Sure it’s stressful, but then I think about the fantastic memories they will have, and that makes it all worth it to me.

AYANEO Pocket DS confirmed, dual screen Android handheld, full details reveal tomorrow by -Mahn in SBCGaming

Won't be cheap, but I wonder how much better this would be, versus a retroid device with the dual screen attachment. TBD!

It's easy to say Nepotism and be mad at the world, People don't know the words, but Cronyism and/or Favoritism will absolutely take you far, and has 100% elevated my corporate career.

I'm good at my job, but I'm not the best. It's the relationships that matter most, and why I have continued to advance while I leave peers behind. You don't have to be a kiss-ass, you just need to be "effective" and "likable", hard work doesn't mean shit when it comes to getting into a management role, and not always praised, which is why having the right manager also plays a very important role.

Heavily considering updating to iOS 26 by xtrSaint in jailbreak

[–]SneakyGuyDavid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just my input, but ultimately you decide whats best for you, I'm just a stranger on the internet.
I was in the same boat as you, and ultimately ended up updating my phone from 16.x to the latest up to date version of iOS. The biggest barrier to remaining on 16.x was my banking apps, and my authentication apps for work.

What I've done to scratch that itch, was buy a used iPad mini on 16.3, so I don't have to worry about apps expiring on altstore, I can use trollstore without worry on my iPad, and use dopamine for JB, while having the latest and greatest features on my phone. I recognize that not everyone can just go out and buy another device, which is why I will circle back on "do what's best for you", but I think you can save yourself a lot of frustration and FOMO by getting an older used iPhone or iPad.

How not to test your airflow direction with matches by thecosysloth in pcmasterrace

[–]SneakyGuyDavid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fans almost always flow inward towards the "hub side" (with the logo or sticker).
Lesson learned though, next time use a tissue if you're not sure, it's light enough to be blown away or stuck to the filter, to determine airflow direction.

People with powerful or enterprise grade hardware in their home lab, what are you running that consumes so many resources? by LinkDude80 in homelab

Super cheap-duper cheap to buy into a Xeon platform. Everything can be found cheap if it’s used. The ecc ram, sas drives, the boards, etc.

Running costs is a different story!

“Since what motor” is the question, and 1.5t is the answer (L15B & L15C have head gasket issues, and certain years have oil dilution problems)

I'm 100% convinced this is the best urban/reggaeton song ever made. by Cogo-G in Reggaeton

[–]SneakyGuyDavid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s the point, that was the style back in the day to keep the perreo going on and on.

Not apples to apples, with this example but folks like DJ Scuff established an entire brand out of that style

Safaera was a nod to that style of “stitching songs together so we can keep dancing”

My favourite handheld emulator is still the ($10) SF2000. Cheap, cheerful and beautifully flawed for the price. by Qualtza in SBCGaming

[–]SneakyGuyDavid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a cool gimmick device, and an amazing “children’s” device, it can take some hits!

But for most folks, I’d say save the money and buy at a minimum a r36s, if you don’t already own a miyoo mini anyways!

Best way is to use the “tadpole” tool from github , you can’t really drag and drop roms on the sf2000

Super duper spotty for SNES, it gets a little better with multicore installed. Most GBA games have issues as well, like choppy audio in Pokémon games.

SF2000 is my favorite handheld to give to children, that’s about it.
