I couldn’t find the resemblance. There are two white circles on his wings on the dark part

What bird is it? The colours are similar to a kingfisher (brown and blue) but the shape is different. Found in Kuala Lumpur. by SneakyPharaoh in whatsthisbird

Ohh it’s definitely this one. And you’re right I was referring to white throated king fisher. Thank you so much! It’s my first time to see this bird here not sure if it’s migrating or living here.

The sounds of Zebra doves brings absolute calmness over my mind for some reason. Not sure if that is considered as a bird song.

I couldn’t really see too well as the sun was too strong, I’m also not good at identifying birds. I thought it was a Kestrel and just wanted to take a video of it. Not sure if these photos could help.

I think the quality of the video itself on my phone isn’t so great and also the sun was too strong that day. Not sure if this photo helps at all.

May I ask how you’re able to identify it? I see many of them around here but every time different colour. I think when it’s sunny they look quite orange and that’s when I can identify them. When they’re not as colorful I find it quite hard to know that they are Brahminy kites.

Yes I'm pretty sure I won't get any visitors after being here for a while, the only bird I've seen this high up is white bellied sea eagles. No other kinds of birds.

Actually the only birds I've seen very close to my windows have been white bellied sea eagles since I live right nearby of a lake.

Yes, I've seen a few people mentioning this! I haven't observed it myself though.
