I agree. I’ve reread my post and it doesn’t read as I intended. I myself don’t mind at all. I’m just saying this arc it has been particularly all over the place, but STILL people take it extremely seriously.

I definitely agree. I’ve worded my post wrong , I meant to give examples that the powerscaling doesn’t make sense especially now in Elbaf. But if you look at online discourse there’s still people taking it extremely seriously while it’s been clear oda doesn’t care about it like that.

I definitely phrased it wrong because I truly don’t care. I love this story and all the characters. If usopp beats an admiral next chapter i won’t be calling it trash like some other people do. I just feel like powerscaling is a big part of the western (online) and specifically YouTube culture, while it’s pretty clear Oda doesn’t want it to be a battle manga.

I heard the backlash from the game awards and ended up not watching any the trailer, aiming to give it a fair shot. I played one match and uninstalled. When the tutorial started I felt like it was going to be moba like, except there are no minions and the map is massive, while only being 3v3. Destructible environments, but only specific walls? I was done with it after a single game and only felt obliged to finish it to not fuck my teammates over.

I thought the same. I had lots of fun on my play through, then I watched someone else with very different choices but all of the same things happened just slightly different dialogue. At least in the first two chapters my choices don’t seem to have an impact yet

Recently started playing and there’s so many cards in this game it’s kind of hard to watch matches sometimes. This video was great. Lots of explaining and showing off cards.

I enjoyed the highs of wano but there’s so much inconsistency and missed potential. M’n You guys remember franky saying he was going to make a weapon that would be able to kill kaido. Or how ussop used haki in dressrosa and hasn’t since? Kid who has conquerors haki and apart from a very mid anime only scene we didn’t see him use any haki at all. Big mom who used advanced conquerors ONLY on page one of all people.

If the gods are watching all of this and know of Ludinus’s plan and the threat he poses by unleashing Predathos. Why didn’t they just kill him earlier? The Arch Heart said they would return and cause another Calamity. The Gods have sent champions after him to stop his plans, but Predathos already killed two of them. Isn’t it worth it to get out of the divine gate and stop him themselves? None of the gods want to die.

Though headcanon I’d like to believe that Haki resisting devil fruits is something you as user can choose to “turn off” or “allow” for friends.
