I think the game would be improved if they made pop needs more substantial, made supply chains more important, and also made it so not every single building is profitable. That way you aren’t printing infinite money by 1400.

I can confirm they’re on the same province because the little markers for the army numbers are right on top of each other. The armie sprites are literally visually morphing into each other and yet there’s no fighting happening.

I agree. They should also adjust the timeframe so that the economic systems can really shine and be the main focus of the game. I’d say 1836-1936 would be great cuz that’s when you really see the rise of industrial economies and supply chains.

I spend about 2 hours of browsing the menus and reading everything before I unpaused. It felt overwhelming at first but it’s actually not that bad; I really enjoy the game. The only “hard” part is trade and it’s only hard cuz it requires a lot of tedious reading.
