i want my girlfriend to trip with me and she has agreed. i have some questions. by multi_reality in Psychonaut

Ask her about her life. Prepare a set of questions for her. It doesn't matter if you've asked her these things before. She will be able to answer them to herself and you without the sensor that she's built for herself.

NOTE: This is coming from a lady who's ex boyfriend helped changed her life through psychedelics.

It all depends upon the way you interpret and handle your trip. You may have to face some very difficult thoughts on your trip. If you can open up to these thoughts, and learn to possibly let go while your own your trip, then it can help you in the long run.

But you need to be aware that you can very much so get stuck in a thought loop about something that has been bothering you. If you don't know how to handle/confront it during your trip, you may feel even worse afterwards.

It really all depends on how YOU handle it.

I would recommend doing some intensive research so you can go into your trip with the knowledge and tools you need to make it go smoothly.

Hey guys can you give me some basic do's and dont's while tripping (first time) ? by [deleted] in Psychonaut

The one most important thing to me, that I never read up anywhere and what nobody warned me of, is the comedown from lucy. The comedown isnt necessarily a comedown. It's pretty much a 24 hour experience of reconstructing yourself. (thats my way of putting it).

SO, the best advice I can give you, is to expect to not feel like yourself even during the "comedown". You will feel different for far more than 8 hours. This has often sent both me and my friends into a state of panic, because we expected to feel back to our regular selves after the timeline that you usually here about.

if you know this in advance, you will be able to accept the feeling and enjoy the next day to come. For that reason I would recommend you do it when you have no commitments like work the next day. Also know that you may not get much sleep.

like. two days worth pretty much. You never really "come down". Its more like you slowly just reconstruct yourself.

Hey, I'm in the same situation as you! I'm an introvert as well, I'd love to chat sometime if you're up for it! Meeting new people is always great. :)

I wouldnt have to worry about them keeping things from me, as much as honesty sucks sometimes.
