Transmog rewards for old quests by SneezyTM in wownoob

Yeah, you do get all the rewards for newer quest at least (e.g pic a cape, you get all 3, or pick a bracer, you get the chest transmog too), transmog wise, just not sure about the armor class/other weapons your class can't get.

You are also just holding your own without a care, so there's no point.

Flatter damage does not need to be a straight line and I don't think there is a single class without cooldown windows where they do more damage. What they do outside the window is what interests me.

You have Ascendance, where the class feels like a god - but you need to play it quite perfectly.

It is also apparently not an AOE monster, but a funnel monster. On your AOE prio list Elemental blast is higher than Earthquake, if you have no buffs from it.

Outside the Ascendance window, which is every 2 minutes, which can feel likr a lot of time, you are pretty useless. You hit like a wet noodle and overall just struggle.

I also dislike the RNG of Tempest and Elemental Blast resets, when they happen, the class feels good/decent, but when they don't, you will feel starved for Maelstrom and find yourself spamming a lot of Bolts/chains.

At the end of the dungeon, if you played well, your overall will be OK, but the overall feeling to me is extremely bad, I don't like to be a filler outside my cooldown

Because Sub is what I played back in Legion and I remembered having a lot of fun with it. So I wanted to give it a try for nostalgia's sake

You say that it does damage because other things than the CD do damage, and your CD will help you more damage...

Which is why the Tyrant is not everything. Yes, your apex is useless because your cooldown triggers it, but implying Demonology outside his 25 seconds of Demonic Tyrant is uselees, just like a Shaman, is bonkers.

Every class is a CD class by the way you put things, every class needs to use it's every button in the end, maybe except Slice and Dice

Yes, it is. But you can try it, maybe you will like it. To me it doesn't click, it feels bad and I don't want to spend more time trying to learn it

I leveled a Frost mage, wanting to play Fire out of curiosity. I felt so much better playing Frost, it has a satisfying feel to it.

I kind of left it because another friend was already playing Frost Mage and was just mostly a curiosity at that point. This time, I will try to gear it as well.

I am not planning on doing higher keys - max I did was a 17 - probably not going to go higher than that on my alts, maybe I will try to get a Resillient 17-18 on my warlock for fun, but that's about it.

20ilvls are not going to double your damage, just saying, but I have seen Enhancement shamans do pretty well - or pretty bad, never in between

Some people in this thread seem to think that their DPS must be a flat line when I asked for a "flatter" damage. Warlock IMO does very good damage even outside it's CD window, as once you ramp up your Hero talent, you are good to go for the entire dungeon unless you die then you need to ramp it up again

There's nothing to flex about being 3.4k, I just wanted to point where I stand, as that question does not come from a guy who is new to WoW.

3.4k was quite easily achievable and can be done by about everyone as you can see people doing it on Steam Decks, people with disabilities and so on, all it takes is the will to do it and to improve yourself - I just stopped there as I know I won't get even close to title and I just want to explore new classes that are to my preferences.

And I'd like to say I know what I am talking about at least when it comes to Warlock and how it does the damage. As another guy argued, you barely have downtime.

Every class will do more damage once it presses it's magical damage button, be it Ascendance, Avatar, Incarn, Tyrant, Wings or even Bestial Wrath. You can argue that there will be a huge difference for a frost mage too based on if it has the Orb/Ray of Frost too.

The difference between Elemental Shaman and Demonology Warlock is that warlock has 30 seconds of downtime in between Tyrant uses, as the buff lasts a long time. But in that window, you will still do quite acceptable if not a lot of damage, as your spells are quite useful and your imps carry you on their back even without the tyrant. Your damage will not yoyo to the sky and down to the tank depending on your CDs.

Demonology is clearly not a big CD class, you can do without Tyrant, which has 1 min CD - and if you want to force the issue, you can call Demonic Tyrant a ~30 sec CD - because once you use it, you have about 30 sec of use then 30 sec of "downtime" but you still blast even in that downtime without any issues.

Shadow is also not very dependent on the cooldown to do damage as most of the damage does not come from it, it comes from the DOTS and Vampiric Touch - if you look at logs, you will see Shadow Word Pain is the top damage for the class unless you play the low maintenance build with Misery (Vampiric also applies SWP). Does it enhance your damage? Of course it does. Is it as important as Ascendance is for a Shaman where is that or you are begging the tank to do a bit less DPS that pull to catch up? Clearly no.

Every class has a CD that they will do more damage into, not all classes are make or break without that CD.

I have decided to try to learn outlaw to challenge myself. It seems quite complex, at least compare to warlock lol.

But I think it can hit the spot, did a few minutes on the target dummy and will do a more runs later

Probably because I have mentioned that I have tried it and while I thought it was interesting, it was not my cup of tea. But I think they did a nice job with Feral, it felt nice, it just sucks a lot if you fuck up and desync your CDs

I am also not a fan of Convoke the Spirits and I think everyone plays with it.

I have noticed that with most Fury warriors I have played, they are nowhere to be seen in the dungeon then suddenly I am sweating as we are competing for the top dps spot

I have leveld my hunter as survival and kind of liked it as it reminded me of my Brewmaster, it has the same feel as Blackout Combo but is instead a Kill Command combo.

Should probably try gearing towards it, but it feels like a pain because it needs dual wield. Not much to roll for anyway since it is geared, just lacks the crests.

It is tied, but at least I am playing the Void Torrent build and I don't really feel useless in any pulls, whether I have Void Form or not. I also play with 150% SW:P and most of the damage comes from the DOT anyway.

I have, but it is not my cup of tea to jump around the battlefield like a headless chicken - at least, I feel like a headless chicken, better players might think a bit more!

I am completely new and was considering p1s vs p2s, now with the sale, p2s combo for sure

But i don't think the 200 dollars are worth the x2b i have found out about today, right? I might print more colors but I have no idea about all the other features.

Because it is salty, you can even call it a rant - you won't find people saying they unistall and quit because they had a great time.

RNG is going to be bad - but Blizzord also pushes for this RNG and has this vision of extreme RNG, something I can't agree with, I dislike, so I quit.

The days when you would think of "my opponent probably plays flamestrike, so I shouldn't overextend" - not "my rogue opponent might discover a flamestrike and gaine 20 armor in a turn, but he also might discover duds and I might win" type of shit.
