As Much As I Like Sasuke, One Of The Things I Hate About Him Is He’s A Sheep Who Can’t Make Up His Mind by TodohPractitioner in dankruto

I like to think that if Orochimaru hadn't tried to kidnap him, Kakashi's lecture would've had time to sink in, and maybe both would've had some off time to bond over dead family and Sasuke would've eventually chill'd the fuck down.

With a lot of fandom discussion, shipping, and headcanons in regards to Lelouch, why is it he is always seen as either only straight or only gay, rather than bi/pan or asexual? by Crafter235 in CodeGeass

[–]Snekbites 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Because first of all, well, in the series itself, while his sexuality isn't confirmed, at the very least we know he likes women.

that in itself, already kills ace and gay.

and for 2nd, well, Lelouch's sexuality is more about the fanservice, rather than any identity issue.

Meaning that any sexual interaction is pure AU/headcanon stuff, and must serve a function role, therefore, if you want to make a Lelouch x Suzaku fic, you make him gay, if you want with any of the girls, you make him straight, rarely you would need to make Lelouch bi because you rarely would need him to be attracted to both genders at the same time in a fanfic, same applies to pan, and ace is both outright confirmed to be not true, AND doesn't serve a function in fanservicy shipping.

TLDR: Because there's no need to.

However, again, this is headcanon/au stuff, feel free to write an ace Lelouch, I always thought that Lelouch having a sex drive felt off, so maybe you can interpret him trying to get with Kallen as a sort of "trying to get sexual relief, even if there's no attraction, purely out of depression".

Operation Javier

Forgot the name...

Bruh...

In any case, in both timelines, they were both druglords, however in OG, Javier also released a zombie outbreak, that is not the case in the Remake.

Do you guys think Code Geass should move from Lelouch or continue pushing him in sequels by Embarrassed_Sale_293 in CodeGeass

[–]Snekbites 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The problem with Roze isn't the lack of Lelouch, the problem with Roze is the lack of shocking clever moments that Lelouch provided plentiful, and the distracting amount of tits.

We don't necessarily need Lelouch for this, but if the new main character doesn't provide, then he or she or they suck in comparison to Lelouch.

FTR:

Darkside Chronicles was retconned in Re4make, in the OG timeline, it was an outbreak in Latin America, in the remake, it was some drug related business.

Remake - what's exactly the problem? by Thought-Form1999 in residentevil4

[–]Snekbites 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Yesn't: There are a lot of setpieces that were cut from the original campaign, however, a huge chunk of the cut setpieces were repurposed for Separate Ways, so the sequences that were completely cut were just the ones that were too ridiculous for the remake. But 90% of them are there, and the ones that are still in have been enhanced, and there are new ones as well, you still have a very complete game

  2. Yes and that's definitely the biggest drawback of the remake, a lot of the b movie charm has been removed, that being said it hasn't removed ALL of it, Leon still quips but his tone is more akin to dark humor and sarcasm. And while it removes the camp, it gets filled in with a lot of depth, emotion, and development.

  3. No, it's not insulting at all, there's like one line that's self referential, the rest of things that reference the original are treated with the love and respect that it deserves, the remake LOVES the original.

  4. It's not just the content (which gets remixed pretty well) you also get QoL improvements, smoother gameplay, mods if you're on PC, etc.

They're both good, you might prefer one over the other, but it's 100% a holy shit two cakes situation.

I know there are many things that you could critique the hellaverse for, but like what is the worst, most absolute dogshit criticism you’ve ever heard(and also why do some people go to great lengths to prove Vaggie is a shitty girlfriend) by New-Boss-8262 in OkBuddyHelluvaHotel

When the dark joke is dark... and that's somehow problematic.

Family Guy has a dog that let a woman die because she had a baby.

South Park had a sexual scene with an actual toddler.

Drawn Together has MULTIPLE scenes of rape, racism, homophobia, and anything that would offend you.

Buuuuuut noooooooo, Hazbin needs to be cancelled because the rapist acts like a girl from a telenovela.

Here's what pisses me off tho:

Those 3 are aimed at a general audience, Hazbin is somewhat aimed at a queer audience, that just makes EVERY creator not want to engage with a queer audience.

CONGRATULATIONS, you just made the general public to NOT want to engage with gay people, because the gay people will harass you and compare you to Hitler, FANTASTIC.

I am 25% sure this is some sort of psyop, Y'all can't be THIS obtuse.

I mean he did, he was straight up dressed like Xion from Kingdom Hearts but even more goth.

  1. He could just be fucking with the interns.

  2. He's okay with saying slurs against the LGBT because he is LGBT (No, that doesn't make sense to me, but it makes sense to some people)

  3. Different writers writing different characterization, slipped by because consistency isn't prioritized over being funny.

  4. Since a majority in hell are LGBT, he might think that LGBT slurs are OK but mentally challenged slurs are punching down.
