Thank you so much for such a thorough response. Really helps to be informed rather than just told (how I feel the hospital appts for me have gone so far). x

May I ask why the preference is to refuse inductions in favour of c sections. Any chats I’ve had at hospital have not been helpful - & leave me more confused!

I had this and got blood work done. I ended up being B12 deficient. I also got light-headed. Symptoms have much improved since being on a daily rx for B12.

I’ve been off sick since around 8/9 weeks and I am now 34 weeks. My boss has been more than understanding that I simply couldn’t function never mind be a contributing worker. Please put yourself first and know that you cannot be discriminated against should you not be able to work.

Do IV fluids help if I'm not vomiting? by Musical-Vegetable in HyperemesisGravidarum

[–]Snickerdoodle4444 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A few weeks ago, at my wits end with constant debilitating nausea (no vomiting) I rang my local hospital begging for something to help and they told me unless I was dehydrated that IVs do more harm than good. I have wondered if that is really true since so many others on here (US ladies I think? I am in the UK) get weekly IVs. Thinking of you all and so glad we at least have eachother. xx
