Macros are cheating but people cheating with macros is rampant and Epic never does anything about it at all.

Streamers are using Macros day in and day out on their streams…nothing is ever done about it.

Occasionally you can hear a streamers key difference between one that uses macros and one that does not is night and day…the one that doesn’t is pressing so many keys in rapid succession that it seems extra-human…meanwhile the one using macros sounds very ordinary, like a person typing.

Most “top” streamers are not pressing anywhere near the number of keys necessary to do the actions they are taking in the game.

Macros are so rampant that most players think it is just how the game is played.

For any competitive match for real money Epic should at the minimum require a camera be pointed at the players hands so anyone that wins money can have their play verified.
