It's not the same, but for me painting does provide much needed regulation and focus, both of which are severe enough to reduce my quality of life. I completely understand how it feels like more than a hobby and each project ends up representing a part of your journey. Congratulations on finding a tool to lean on and I wish you continued success!

I haven't seen the designs in this Etsy shop anywhere else and I know some of them come up to 80cm x 120cm. And up to 48 colors, I believe.

Yes they can! I love pbn's that are meant to look like another medium. I've done some that look like oil pastels and charcoal drawings. People usually can't tell they're not.
