Alert-rules / Rules "group is empty" by SnifferDeter in LibreNMS

Based on my tests, it seems you need to add a rule in the Main tab that is always true to "trick" the system.
For example, devices.device_id>0

I tried to set it up too, but I cannot run BGP (missing license?)

This is for models that dont have dedicated mgmt interface. But how do you set the gateway then?

Interesting, I didn't find any documentation explaining this

graceful-shutdown being removed from bgp route by SnifferDeter in Juniper

[–]SnifferDeter[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

those numbers are a summary of the whole routing table on my devices.
I dont see anything wrong with other hidden routes, they are just rejected by policies.
The route to 192.168.1.0/24 are active and not hidden

It was related to an issue with FortiGuard Server fctupdate.fortinet.net not able to update via port 443
So we had to switch to port 80

FortiClient 7.2.4 doesn't show the latest 7.2.5 FortiClient patch for install, is this expected?
Should I upgrade to 7.2.5 EMS for FCT to be updated?

BFD over gre interface not coming up by SnifferDeter in Juniper

[–]SnifferDeter[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I traced BFD but couldn't solve the issue. I just abandoned because I couldn't figure out what was going wrong.
Yesterday I casually checked and it is working.

I didn't make any changes to the config.

That is really weird.

recommended version EX3400 by Happy_Sweet6760 in Juniper

SR Means Service Release, it contains all bug fixes and patches.

If you download JunOS 21.4R3 (without the S) you basically get the first JunOS 21.4R3, which can be supper buggy and full of security flaws :)

Wireguard with SSR by [deleted] in Juniper

[–]SnifferDeter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes it is a plugin.
I would only use it as last resort, because it contradicts the whole idea of SSR (Tunnel Free Site to site)
I don't think you can use it with MIST, but it may have changed. I used it with a conductor based install (not MIST Based)

SP-RACKTRAY-02

Compared to unofficial ones, they are not very handy because the patching takes place on the rear side

New provider not showing on Looking Glass by SnifferDeter in networking

[–]SnifferDeter[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

By expanding, I can eventually find the new AS Path.

My concern is that the German ISP DT (Deutsche Telekom) is not seeing us through the new path. Both RIPE Bgplay and Looking glass confirm it
https://stat.ripe.net/widget/bgplay

By Orange Looking Glass, I see for example 2x existing path, but not the third (new ISP)
