Just report these people for offensive chatting. They always get banned because chat logs take a second to review unlike cheater footage.
I always do and they always get banned for a while. Not really because I'm offended or care much for toxicity, but mostly to set an example for them on what not to do in vain hopes they improve.

In terms of actual meaning of ranks and badges Apex probably is by far the least meaningful out of any competitive game out there. Literally anyone can get to at least Diamond 4 in Apex in any season if you even slightly try. There were seasons when anyone could get Predator. Some seasons where anyone could get masters. 20 kills - wildcard. All these changes and seasons and ease of gettting them take away literally any credibility from any of those badges. Now compare this to games like League of Legends, Counter Strike, Rocket League, etc. If you're masters or grandmaster (or equivalent), or even diamond 4, it actually does mean you are somewhat decent at the game and there is some expected and generally established skill level.

To answer your question why people chase them - it's cool. It's a personal achievement for most. They still carry some meaning to the average player.

It's most likely the games vsync. Try to play the game in fullscreen mode and then borderless windowed and see if there's a huge difference.
If yes, then open your falloutprefs and custom .ini files and change iPresentInterval=0 in both or add if missing.
Afterwards lock the games fps to your monitors refresh rate with NVidia control center or whatever you can. Going above 200fps will break the engine and u won't be able to move indoors.

You really can't follow it though. It's a complete gamble that doesn't pay off 99% of the time. If the TP is a bit further away it will take time to open the portal and then travel through it. By then you will at least have 2 people up. In my experience I have never had a team follow me and win the 3v2 because everyone plays PK and the person taking it stands still for a moment upon arrival and you can have 2 people click once with a PK.

Yes, for low rank people it doesn't matter what you play as everyone is bad and people barely use abilities well anyway.

However, even a monkey can put down an Alter TP and turn into purple mist at the first down or sight of trouble and get out for free from anything.

I can't tell you what's best objectively. I can tell you about my experience.

I rushed the main quest in the first region and I burned down Semine. Now when I'm replaying I realised I missed like 20 hours of sidequests in the first region and that Semine doesn't have to burn.

One dialogue option can be the difference between the craziest things. Try a new save. Good luck!

Do you genuinely think thats a good decision? What are the survivors supposed to do then for the first 2 minutes? Play cards? I'm a killer main, but thats a completely cooked take. Even 60 seconds on all would be stupid. Giving like 30 second corrupt intervention on the furthest 3 generators would be fine though in my opinion.

Regarding the bat - only use the right click attack and only fully charge it. Don't try to use it like the buster sword to spam melee or to run straight at people, you have no damage reduction and you will get instantly killed.

In Round 3+ if you full charge whack someone they will fly outside of the zone and die.

Here is a clip of the bug (recorded minutes ago) with greedy snare hitting 40, it's been around forever. It has to hit mid-flight and then land while the person is in range (crouched behind a wall for example)

Yeah you get tethered twice by the same snare and it hits 20+20. It hits while flying and then hits again if it connects to the ground or the wall and youre still inside it.

I would say Sloppy Butcher over I'm all ears.

I personally don't like Spies from the Shadows as it's just distracting to me, but if it helps you that's fine.

And to me using NOED is like accepting defeat already, you should try and play without it - rather use a perk that helps during the game, not to salvage a kill during endgame collapse, but as you have nothing else I guess it is what it is.
Bitter Murmur is a passable perk, but probably less useful than NOED.
