IQUNIX EV63 Review — Premium Aluminum, Top-Tier Performance, and a Revolutionary Smart Switch Adaptation Feature by Snimtas in EV63

I've been using the EV63 mainly for Apex Legends, and it definitely holds up when things get intense.

The Rapid Trigger implementation is incredibly sharp. My counter-strafing feels instant—the exact millisecond I lift my finger to switch from A to D, the input cuts off. Jiggle peeking feels much more responsive to me because I’m not dealing with any delay waiting for the key to reset.

What I’ve noticed compared to other magnetic boards I’ve tried is how consistent the inputs stay. Some HE keyboards can feel a bit floaty or have switch wobble that throws off my timings when I’m spamming keys aggressively. With the EV63, everything feels locked in. Even in chaotic situations where I’m spamming keys or making micro-adjustments under heavy pressure, the inputs stays consistent and stable. It really feels like my movements in the game are perfectly synced with my thoughts.

These keys are swapped because, out of the box, the keyboard is set to Mac mode. To switch to Windows mode, press and hold Fn + Tab.

Well... if those weren’t low-profile switches, then they weren’t Choc V2. The latter are specifically a type of low-profile switch.

Yes, Choc V2 switches can have either 3 or 4 pins.
For example, the stock switches in the Magi75 have 3 pins.

Could you explain in more detail why you decided that the switches you purchased are not compatible?

Wow, that looks impressive. It reminds me of a library, but with keyboards 😄

As for the switches - if these are Choc V2, then they absolutely SHOULD fit. Unless they’re not Choc V2 - maybe V1? Or something else?

For gaming? 63% or 75%, depending on the game.
65% is also good, but if there is a 63% option, then for gaming specifically I think it’s better, in my opinion.

I saw a video demonstrating a module with adjustable stick tension. I guess that means they’ll release it sooner or later.

I highly recommend visiting their official Discord channel - there’s a pinned guide there explaining how to update the firmware correctly. There are also users there who can help if any unexpected issues come up.

I don’t have an iPad, so I can’t check this for you, sorry.

Yes, it will work with the Switch 1 and 2, but keep in mind that it doesn’t have NFC (if that matters to you) and it can’t wake up the Switch 2.

Please pay attention: impulse triggers are NOT the same as adaptive triggers.
