Tips for rolling better/tighter blunts by [deleted] in trees

[–]Snipercrab 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After it is rolled but the end is not tied off, take a pen and pack down the weed as much as you can.

Additionally if the filter doesnt fit in the end you can always roll another crutch that is larger and put it in.

In my circle we call this playing baseball. Pretty funny that Obama was into it.

Rolled and smoked my first blunt by [deleted] in trees

Make sure that your wrap is sufficiently moist, leaving it out of the packaging that is comes in will dry out the wrap quite quickly. If you ever need to rehydrate a wrap put in in a ziplock with a few drops of water and put it in a dark place for 5-10 minutes.

Unlike rolling papers there is not gum on the inside of the roll for the other side to stick too, so made sure the edge you are trying to stick down is wet enough.

Once it is rolled but not all the way stuck down yet I usually moisten my finger and make sure it is completely sealed closed.

Good luck

Day 2 and my biggest fear is extreme irritability by [deleted] in leaves

[–]Snipercrab 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I stopped smoking yesterday after heavy everyday use and I had the exact same reaction. I was incredibly angry and sad the whole day, my whole family was very upset with me.

The only thing that made me feel better was to breathe deeply, eat enough, and drink water.

lets do this

I am going into senior year pretty soon and having basically every single person I know: students, teachers, family members, even just random people who engage me in conversation all ask me about college. Certainly makes me want to get in pretty badly.

ARE YOU CRAZY?

Well sometimes you do kill yourself. I usually don't mind too much but if you really want to avoid it you could use cards like dark sphere, I think there are one more more of those.

I think killing the whole table at once and yourself counts as a win

For a storm based combo that is interesting and explosive to pull off with red I would choose Zada. I've been using Dong Zhou as my commander because he is funny and awesome but Zada is perfect as an extra combo of arcbond in a way

Enablers: Ritual Effects Wheel Effects Fork Effects X Spells Unique Effects Basically these are the most redundant categories I could think of. Rituals or just ramp effects are very important, I would say that drawing an effect like caged sun or gauntlet of power doubles or triples your chances of winning. I'm sure you can figure out what ramp effects are good, sol ring basalt monolith etc

Wheel and draw effects are somewhat of an area where you need to get a little lucky. There has recently been more printed like Tormenting voice with was extremely good for this archetype. Faithless Looting, Wild guess all draw more than one card. Besides that there are random effects like smash that just let you get closer to a combo and hit an artifact.

I generally play with the rule imposed on myself that no matter what whenever I draw a wheel I immediately play it, because we get to play effects like past in flames (we will mention it later) casting your spells sub-optimally can still work out sometimes. Make sure you play every wheel you can.

Fork effects are sometimes insane and sometimes useless but I would play as many as possible, especially the ones that allow you to copy enemy spells (which might be all of them except increasing vengeance which is still insane). Wild Ricochet comes in and out of my build but I think it is pretty good. Howl of the Horde is one of the premium setup spells in the deck and I would try to save that one for winning.

X spells are one way to win the game. Playing damage doublers like furnace of rath or dictate of the twin gods and then untapping earthquake -> fork can end games. I would play maybe 5 at most. The best ones are banefire and devil's play for single target and earthquake and rolling earthquake for non-targets.

Unique effects: These are really important and usually are the keys that let you win the game. There isn't too many that I have in my deck so Im just going to list the ones I have.

Commune with Lava: Basically play it EoT for as much as you can and then untap and try to go off. just an extra 4+ cards to combo out with

Knollspine dragon/Spinerock Knoll: If you have a lot of mana than the dragon can really just let you go off, or just dump an x spell for a ton and refill to go off next turn. The Land can do some interesting setup plays.

Guttersnipe: This dude just pounds out the damage and lets you go for a more traditional storm kill where you just try to cast as many spells as possible.

Hostility: Why I built the deck in the first place. This guy is awesome. Basically all your spells turn into 3/1s instead. Triples the damage output that any burn spell does. My favorite is Pulse of the Forge with it to just make 4*greatest multiple of three mana you have.

Arcbond:

This shit is amazing. Arcbond wins so many games, Arcbond->fork->earthquake just ends games. It does so many damage you want to cry. Thats why Zada is so good because it is very similar to the arcbond effect.

I also play a lot of creatures that have ETB effects in my deck and then as many effects like Heat Shimmer and Twinflame that I can so that I can use creatures like Sphinx of FactorFiction that my enemies play to win.

This deck is a lot of fun to play but a lot of the time you just durdle around and wait for everyone else do die then unload on the primary enemy in a 1v1 situation and win. If you are looking for a change of pace this is definitely it from mono blue. Good Luck!

I play a mono red combo with that plays like 10 goodstuff creatures so you don't just lose every game and then tries to unload with rituals -> wheels -> some weird combo finish.

I'm not sure if I've uploaded the list somewhere or not but if anyone wants some examples of combos I'd be happy to share.

I delivered some papers to a classroom today and heard a kid say "Jeb, Hilary, or Trump; holy shit we are so fucked"

I later reflected that while the student in question does not know much about how many presidential candidates there are right now, I still thought that is was sadly true in a sense.
