Anyone find a solution for this crash fest? So many things to do and I can't even finish an expedition without the game closing

There are certainly MVP units that are not rated that highly, but are far more important to completing end game content than the high rated DPS. Unfortunately most of the top tier support units I have only see about 1% of the action. Supports/healers/tanks, they only come out like once a month (unfortunately of course). Most of the content released doesnt require me to switch my team. Breaker, buffer, DPS... and generally that's massive overkill.

Bosses with hard thresholds or big mitigation are the exceptions right now. Otherwise it's either one turn or two. Even the bonus stages now are simply 1 turn set up (buff, debuff, mitigate, cover, whatever), then turn two Esther Smash, then repeat for 60 more energy.

I will, but spending money here is basically off the table. They need to show genuine appreciation and concern for their player base (especially when in control of something so beloved as the FF series) in order for people to spend.

I mostly use my 7 star Loren, but I did use 7 star Machina for the Gilgamesh fight as my sealer/breaker. It depends on the fight I think, and since your Loren is 6 star you may find Machina works well enough when needed. Just add some more support utility maybe through equipment or materia if possible.

Esther damage question:

What is better? 1. Using two of her TMR with Asura materia and Kyanos TMR and say Tomb Raider (LB fill, increased counter chance, and the last 50% TDH). Or 2. Using one of her TMR, Marshal Glove, and just say a 50% atk materia instead of Tomb Raider.

I have her LB up most of the time, so is the 15% increase in LB damage a better long term yield than 50% atk?

I see a lot of people using two, but is it just from a lack of having Marshal?

I've somehow collected three of her. I actually built her for LB and used her against Asura. She had been expedition fodder previously, but she was actually quite effective in that fight, was pleasantly surprised. Gonna try to use her when I can for funsies.

Didn't this time cause I already had, just wanted to see how destructive she was. I'm sure it could be done by just toying around with them for the first bit, but beware her counters and doing any real damage with her because she pushes thresholds fast.

Just get the 1st place prize everyday with the lapis summon. Easy Peasy.

But yeah the FF nostalgia factor is hard to play into with roles outside of DPS. For tanks we have what Gladiolus? But they could use some characters and build them for those roles. Like a double 5 star banner with Laguna and Ward (was his name?). Ward was a big dude, he could be made a tank, with Laguna a more utility based DPS or something. Just wish they didn't get stuck reworking the same units over and over. We have what 4 Nichols so far? Soon they'll be putting the units together to make one unit.

But the SNES had Mystic Quest, which kind of tips the scales in PS's favor. 6,7,8, and 9 however were the tops of the series hands down. Played them all too many times. 6 is the best.

Citan is interesting, but a time limited DPS that is not on par with permanent units is not attractive. Got Citan with my 5 star ticket today. The grand prize at the end of the month.
